I live in Wisconsin and I have learned firsthand what happens when conservatives gain control of a state's government, the executive, legislative, and judicial branches.  They move quickly to consolidate their power and to further their agenda.  The same would happen to the United States on a national level if they were to gain control of he White House and the Senate.

I don't know.  It's going to be a tough job with the million$ the Koch bros have to throw the unions and Democratic supporters can never match it.  If only Feingold would have run, he would defeat Walker handily.  If the recall succeeds it will be a tribute to the people of Wisconsin in overcoming the power and corruption of political money.

In 2010 lots of Democrats stayed home from voting and that is how Walker won.  He received 90% of the vote total that McCain received in the presidential election and that is not too shabby in an off-year election.  His Democratic opponent, Barrett, received only 60% of the vote total that went to Obama.  That's how Walker won and it shows what happens when people do not participate in the system--someone will fill the void and have the power to impact the lives of everyone.

Christie, governor of NJ.  Quite possible.  He endorsed Romney last year and so he would be a good fit.  A good strategy for Christie because when Romney gets his ass whupped it sets up Christie to be in a primo position in 2016 to get the Republican nomination and then not have to run against a Democratic incumbent.
