as already posted, AronRa is SPECTACULAR, like Thunderfoot... he is so well spoken and he can talk very fast and with few breaths (sometimes over-exerting himself until he gasps XD) he has a lot to say and he is very entertaining, I definitely, DEFINITELY recommend his works of this series

I love AronRa.  I've actually ran into him at a couple of different forums.  I wish he'd make videos more often.  Here's my addition to the list: Captain Disillusion.  He's more about skepticism than atheism but his vids are always entertaining.

Great list.  I'm just getting started.  As others have mentioned, AaronRa is very good (though a bit quirky).  I particularly liked his synopsis of evolution in "10th Foundational Falsehood of Creationism".

Anyone who insists that evolution is impossible will get a ten minute course in reality with this one.

Main feature: Carl Sagan's last interview

Quote
Carl Sagan gave his last interview with Charlie rose on May 27th 1996. He discussed pseudo-science, religion, unfounded claims, his personal love affair with science and his struggle with myelodysplasia as well as other elements of his last book: The Demon-Haunted World.

I thought it was important that a high quality copy of this interview, with proper audio video sync, was made available on youtube.

The Demon-Haunted World changed my life in ways more profound than I thought possible. That book, and the name of Carl Sagan, should be known to every high school graduate.

Atheist discrimination - Atheists in Oklahoma

Quote
I said the Pledge of Alligence as it was originally written. When the basketball team I played for was saying the Lords Prayer. The next school day i got kicked out of HARDESTY PUBLIC school for standing up for what I thought was right. This happened 2 years in a row. We have a Federal lawsuit against the school.
P.S. By the way the girl Hugging me at the end Told me "GOD FORGIVES YOU, AND I FORGIVE YOU."
So then thinking for yourself is a SIN?
And as for it not being about religion then why did the Teacher tell me that "This is a Christian country and if you don't like it GET OUT!"
Go to http://www.scooterjournals.com/ and read "Just Another Salem".
Also Check out "The Price of Atheism" on youtube.

This public school is breaking the law!It is a Public school and this was centercourt and therefore a forum for Chritianity! As atheists we see the lords prayer as a mockery to all the evil your religion has caused our kind thru the ages. Would you understand if a Jewish child was offended if you had children sing some Heil Hitler tune or if a black child was offended by children shouting "the South will rise again"? It is a spit in the face and an insult to those who know your true History! It has no place in a school!

Price of Atheism Nicole on 20/20 with update!

Quote
Just one free thinking young lady who stood her ground against the many. It is not so much about why she stood but that she choose too. She found this strength not from a book or faith but from deep inside herself. From a place that many seem to search for but never seem to find. She has paid a dear price for her bravery and has seen and felt the hypocracy on both sides of the line she made in the sand. For those of you who would wish to thank and help her with her education feel free to send a small gift to,

Nicole Smalkowski
c/o education
716 E. McKee St.
Greeneville, TN 37743

Thank You

Like I said they would claim a victory. They said this on press release!

"We thank the Smalkowski family for their praise of our efforts on their behalf and we wish them well in their future undertakings."

What a bunch of bull. Nicole fired Americain atheist and Edwin right after convention. She dealt with Rice as long as she had to.
Pity is, cases could have done some good but games were played and we do not play, and we do not take kindly to threats, vilifications and unethical behavior from those who are supposedly representing us.

American Atheist after we fired them made this end run with the help of Rick Rice. Seems they profited. How they claimed damages is beyond me.
We were not involved.

As for our cases
We did not profit we are still broke from our legal costs! We are trying to salvage Nicoles future but like I said we are broke.

We were totally disgusted with our legal team.
With the right legal filings the prayer circle at centercourt during a school event would have ended but now it seems it will go on. Instead of fixing a wrong, fame and profit seemed to be the motive.

SO...
Nothing has changed, no battle was won. Yet victories are claimed?

The real hero is Nicole Smalkowski who stood her ground for all of you, who lost out on her schooling and sports can only remember with deep regret how she was used by those she trusted.

With all that has happened to us.
Our biggest regret is ever getting involve with this bunch.

So debate the bones and pat yourself on the back for knowing the truth BUT your children's children will still say "under God" and live in a Christian country where in public schools, prayer and religion will be taught and preached as fact while the holy scribes in the temple of atheism and religion will still be fattening their purse.

Good luck

the funny part is all the ones I mention are in my playlist about things I think everyone should see when it comes to knowledge (education, science, and politics) (I have 3 playlists, the one below, my one about creativity, and my one about real (actual,) cool stuff)

most of my playlist (as it's still being remade) are the series I found interesting, with a few single vids in the mix... it's kinda a shortened version of the megalist

http://www.youtube.com/user/revtyson < this seems to be mainly saved interviews, but it's worth checking out all the same
