Letting Go of God is a monologue by Julia Sweeny. She talks about her transition from a good Catholic to an atheist. It is a very sensitive, compassionate and thorough handling of the journey. At times it is very funny - when she describes how her inquiry began with two mormon boys trying to convert her. At other times it is very sad - when she describes the deaths of her brother and her father. It is always well done and smart.
Her path to non-belief so closely followed my own that I could relate to everything she said. It is a brilliantly done performance and I would recommend it for anyone who is an atheist or who wants to better understand atheists.
