This section is for miscellaneous discussions about science. Discussions relating to evolution, creationism or Intelligent Design belong in the
Evolution/Creationism section.
Members are expected to adhere to the following guidelines in addition to the Forum Rules:
- Assertions of fact are expected to be supported by reasonable, demonstrable evidence.
- Personal "ideas" that cannot be supported by reasonable, demonstrable scientific evidence belong in the Chatter section.
- Where used, external sources must be accompanied by a citation.
- Links to external sources must be accompanied by a relevant excerpt that conveys the intended meaning of the source and quotes should be presented in context.
- Do not post word-walls or content thats consist entirely, or almost entirely, of excerpts from external sources.
- Material from an external source must be cited by providing a Web link or an adequate reference to the relevant publication.
