More gay people will get married, it would be a great thing for them. People should be happy, as long as they keep their sexuality to themselves.

Gay marriage is already legal in many parts of the world.

And those communities have not been subjected to earthquakes or tsunamis.

So I guess the answer is nothing especially different.

If gay marriage is legalized, then gay marriages will be more public and will shockingly tend to pretty much mirror Hetero marriages. This will be devastating to the christian guilt community who will discover that god's hatred of the gays is unwarranted, and obviously just another instance of the bible authors' prejudices being reflected in their story.
