(reads article and starts to giggle)  Aha!  When I saw "47 years old" I thought back to the early 60's, and the very first program that sprang to mind was Dr. Who.

Signal must've bounced off the TARDIS.

I found the feed in one of my daily news readers, and I found folks commenting on it today, so it must have resurfaced for some reason. Probably one of the editors got a forwarded email from his elderly aunt. If its true, it's cool. If not, I don't like being lied to.

And by the way, Astreja, they are saying some Dr. who episodes are included.

Can't find anything on Snope about it. Doesn't that mean it must be real?  ;D

Mr. And Mrs. Google don't have much to say about it...

That would be hilarious if it were true... But I have My doubts about anything posted on the first of April.   ;D

Nothing to see here folks. No, I really mean it.

My bad. Getting old is hard on a guy.

Quit true. However it would be the perfect day to pull off some amazingly grand scheme[1]...if one were so inclined.

I am not sure how to describe the intricacies of this Hell, so I chose to begin with the most common or prominent theme of Hell, which is uncertainty.

On the bright side, the original story that I failed to realize is a joke was right next to one about Gingrich leading in Iowa. I knew he was a joke, but maybe the news about his recent rise in the polls is one too!

That is really cool.  I don't say shit like that often but, dude, that's awesome.  It's like actually being able to glimpse in to the past in a whole other forum.

It would be faboulous if it included some of the epsodes that were lost....like just about the Whole run of Patrick Troughton.
An Omnipowerful God needed to sacrifice himself to himself (but only for a long weekend) in order to avert his own wrath against his own creations who he made in a manner knowing that they weren't going to live up to his standards.

And you should feel guilty for this. Give me money.

Speaking of lost Dr. Who episodes with Patrick Troughton, this just appeared today on CNN:

http://www.cnn.com/2011/12/12/showbiz/uk-dr-who/index.html

Just two episodes, only one of them with Troughton, so not quite your "Whole run" wish, but still sort of funny that this would article would just coincidentally turn up on the very day you posted that.
