On question/issue you did not explore, that sees viable is that many
salamanders and other lower vertebrates and many invertebrates do regenerate
limbs or other amputated parts.  Does God love them more than humans?

In terms of human sacrifice, you didn't mention the story of God asking
Abraham to offer his son Isaac.  The happy ending, where God said don't do
it, is not the point of the story.  The point of the story is that God has
the RIGHT to ask such a thing, and we humans have no right to refuse.  If he
