How can i put an avatar on my profile or a signature at the bottom? i seem to be missing something. Do i have to have so many posts before i get the ability to do that?

Go up to your Profile\Forum Profile.

The first option is for your avatar. Specify either where the image is on your computer, or the URL of the image on the net.

Your sig is towards the bottom.

Thanks for the answers. Obviously i got it worked out since i have a pix now and a quote  ;D. but i think its what Persephone said, you receive magical powers after 3 posts because i couldn't find any way to do it until i had posted a few times then suddenly it gave me the ability to upload an avatar.
