I'm glad that you can see what I mean Jynnan lol!

And yup, seeing them as average is just what I was trying to get at!

And very true, personality also makes a big difference to these things.

Nothing wrong with having a slightly offbeat taste. If it works for you that's all that matters!  ;)

After kissing Sammy Davis he wipes his mouth and asks, "Did I get any black on my lips?"

Classic. Just classic. Oh, I also loved how he made fun of the chinks and the wops and every other nationality! Great stuff. Just great.

Once upon a time I posed a question to my nephew. I said that since evolution is an ongoing process with no end and with the understanding that animals do communicate with each other...which species do you think is now on the cusp of gaining self awareness? Think about it. As we destroy ourselves, nature will find a way to survive. The end of humanity is not necessarily the end of the world. What do you think the Tigers are telling each other about us? Are we gods to them? What if someday they develop the ability to communicate verbally? What if they learn to read and write? What are they going to tell their children about us?

Seems lately that maybe my question was misapplied. Perhaps I should have been asking that question about AI.

What will computers think of us once they become self aware?

Used to have the biggest crush on Pink.....and Avril Lavigne at the same time.

Our foreign policy moves got me listening to these again. I especially like #2

Have just started to play Silent Hill 4 again (I started to some years back but then my PlayStation 2 stopped working so I couldn't finish). This song is now kind of stuck in my head after I played the subway level at the start of the game:

Haha! Yup, totally get how seeing a reminder can bring that feeling on. :) In fact that's sort of the reason I'm back to playing PS2 games to start with! I was trying to clear some space out in my room recently, and came across some old PS2 games in a cupboard that I really like but hadn't been able to play in so long because of not being able to replace my old PS2. It really annoyed me that I couldn't play any of them again but I didn't see how I could do anything other than give them away now that PlayStation 2 consoles are pretty difficult to get hold of now days (given that they're as old as they are) and so I mentioned to my younger brother he might as well have them seeing as I couldn't play them anymore. However, he did me the big favour of lending me his PS2 in the end (very luckily he still has one that works though he hardly ever uses it anymore) and setting it up in my room in place of the old one I used to use.  I could barely wait, then, to start replaying the Silent Hill games as love them (even though admittedly another reason I wasn't faster with completing Silent Hill 3 and 4 was because of how much of a wuss I was with them, I did complete Silent Hill 2 (on easy mode) and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories but I didn't find those as freaky in comparison plus I half cheated on Shattered Memories really by checking out lots of walkthrough info regarding what to expect/pitfalls to avoid in advance!).

Anyways, I'm sorry to hear that! Hoping that you have some luck in locating it. If not, I believe (though I don't know much on this) that it's possible to make use of PS2 emulators and play PS2 games that way on a PC. Might that be an option for you? You might find it worth looking into if you so far haven't! May well consider that eventually myself.

I like that video Mr Blackwell, many thanks for sharing! ;-)

Another Pink one here:

In all honesty, for the most part (going by what I've heard of Pink's stuff so far) her stuff isn't my kind of thing. But this along with Try, and one other song are exceptions (Try is my favourite out of the lot so far though). Also do appreciate that she's a very talented artist!

Thank you Emma. Pink  is pretty cool. I like some of her stuff. Lately, I have been on an anti war tangent. So, at the moment I have just listened to this song about four times in a row. It is one that I can sing along to with real conviction.
