Saxon's latest. They're still going and still making quality music and getting heavier it seems. ;)

While we're at it, might as well throw in Black Sabbath's latest.

Haven't heard the latest album yet though. I've not been an Ozzy fan for a while, but good on them getting back together, now all he has to do is sacrifice Sharon to satan.

And fuck it, more British heavy metal.

Britney Spear's Circus album. It cost me $3 brand new, I thought I'd listen to it.

Overall, I'd give the album a C-. Where as there are a couple of catchy songs, overall it's just mildly entertaining.

It doesn't make sense to let go of something you've had for so long.  But it also doesn't make sense to hold on when there's actually nothing there.

This is the only thing that is sort of similar that comes to my mind.  Metal, female singer, one minute intro, it has it all.  Except an actual video, this is just the song.

WXPN (xpn.org), an excellent public radio station from the University Of Pennsylvania in Philly, is finishing up the top 885 songs since 2000 (they're at #9 as I post).
 Good, good stuff.

Here's the list:

Well, getting a lot of Lou Reed links on my FB page, and listening to them

Well, listening to them sort of sent me on a journey to listen to transgendered themed music from the 1970's.  It is actually quite an amazing social study.  Remember:

Then, there is the amazingly beautiful David Bowie:

But then in the 80's, those who were born women started playing with male/female images.  Just gorgeous:

And then this demure wallflower tries her hand at courtship:

Ahhh.  The rulebreakers are inspiring me this morning...

I show affection for my pets by holding them against me and whispering, "I love you" repeatedly as they struggle to break free.
