Actually homie, let me put it like this. I used to DJ open mic events. I'm still down to do those, I just mean I used to do them more often. And in open mic events there are always aspiring thug rappers. Rappers with no name, talking about they'll kill niggas dead. Rappers who will kick a lot of ignorant shit about violence and what have you. And when you listen to a lot of that shit, it can get downright cartoony. What I mean by Tempz being in on the joke, is that it seems like he's acknowledging that fact in the video. This shit feels mad cartoony when you hear it. And when you see it on video, it feels like it's like rap ignorance taken to its logical conclusion. "Won't get none of your CDs back!" That's my shit, son.
Anyway, I think I've posted this song before.
I think I've also shared the fact that homegirl looks almost exactly like my ex-girlfriend, my big-ex, in this video. And the shit is weird because she doesn't look anything like her in normal lighting. I think it's her lips and especially her hair that does it. My pops was just talking about her too (my ex, not homegirl singing) and the shit frustrated me to no end. Dude talks about me getting back with her as if it's some obvious solution, as if we haven't tried and failed to make it work time and time again. But that's probably my fault. I feel ike I should probably invite her to family functions since they know each other, we're still cool with each other, and she is, in fact, a delight. Or maybe, he just wants grand kids. I don't know.
Peace to y'all. I feel like I can be more open here than in places where I use my name. Thank you fer letting me indulge myself.
