Had forgotten about this one till hearing it on Heart radio just now. It's one of those songs I've heard a few times before, liked, but had no clue who the artist was or what the song title was:

Slipping deeper into madness. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

I came to a realization the other day. The only thing I was ever good for was manual labor but now that I'm older, I can no longer hold up to expectations. I am practically useless unless I break myself in a desperate attempt to show my worth. My greatest glory will come now if I die of a heart attack while mowing the yard because keeping up appearances is more important than my health or happiness.

Getting re adjusted.

Quote
Tell me true
tell me why
was Jesus crucified
Is it for this that daddy died?

Was it for you? was it me?
Did I watch too much t.v.?
Is that a hint of accusation in your eyes?

What have we done?

Quote
When you're one of the few,
To land on your feet.
What do you do to make ends meet?
(Teach)

Make 'em mad
Make 'em sad
Make 'em add two and two

Make 'em me
Make 'em you
Make 'em do what you want them to

Make 'em laugh
Make 'em cry
Make 'em lay down and die

Still not clear on the distinction between the DNC vs the RNC

I'm not alone and did not create my belief out of thin air. Call it both siderism if you want. I don't see that as an insult or a bad thing. It just is what it is.

Politicians are morally corrupt. The ones who aren't don't last very long.

If only politics and policy were as easy to break down and discern

If only the laws of physics were as easily applied to propaganda, to be able to dissect what works best for all of humanity without all the lobbyists greasing the wheels of government in their particular favor maybe

just maybe

I could tell who the good guys really are

But social policy doesn't work that way and I am very sad to say
when it comes to social order, it's hard for me to tell the difference between night and day.

Communism, Marxism, Socialism, Fascism, Capitalism, Catholicism, Baptism, Anton LaVey
All fall short of the perfect idea, yet still...they remain.

This time, we'll get it right! This time it'll be different! This time we can right all the wrongs
and forge a more perfect society that excludes all the belligerent, deplorable throngs

of people

People who refuse to understand the true meaning of life
People who cannot be reasoned with
People who will not submit to the pure logic of science, as if that has any bearing to the discussion at hand

One party, one people, one mind, one understanding, one true path to the promised land

And every politician, every demagogue, every dictator, every preacher promises us that they will take us there
They will wipe away every tear, so they say
A chicken in every pot, so they say

All our troubles will disappear in an instant if we just buy their snake oil

As a child, I used to cry for myself. Now, I cry for humanity.
