I never said that I would wish it. I just said, fuck them if they are.

I also feel empathy and sorrow for anyone who may go to hell, regardless of their actions.

Well, considering how responsible they were for making others suffer they do deserve it, even if I do have sympathy for them.

However, I think that the "Lake of Fire" anology is just a metaphor. It is probably a solitary place of seperation where their guilt burns at them, knowing that they will be denied paradise for all eternity.

Yeah, those damn gays, causing suffering to all sorts of other people...

Oh wait, that's a tenet of "Strong Christianity", and is not contained in the thinner bible used by "Weak Christianity".

I do not hate gays. Nor do I think that they belong in Hell. It is actually no more of a sin than an unmarried couple having sex.

It is funny how some religious groups try to make one worse than the other, and please stop attempting to challange me with your foolish  claims.

Strong Christians do not even deserve the word Christian in their description.

One unrepented sin is enough to get into Hell, no?

Who the fuck knows? Marrage was a human invention anyway. I argue this one with my bible study group as well.  ;D

I am pretty sure God will explain to you why it was sinfull before He gives you the chance to repent. I cannot see God punishing someone for something when they do not understand the reason why first.

Don't even start. If I can be that mercifull then so could God. He is far more mercifull than I.

Isn't death supposed to be the cut-off point for repentence, past which it's too late?

I never said that that book was totally accurate in a literal sense EVER man. All I said that the God of the bible is ABOUT the Creator of this universe, except for most of the New testament stuff, and the Prophets of the old testament.

Literal or metaphorical, it paints an ugly picture of the Abrahamic god.  And it's the only picture we have, aside from what each believer baselessly invents with his or her imagination.

As a whole it is not ugly at all, and I am not getting into this again with you. Talk about being off topic.

Wow cool crystals!

anyone catch the show?

I watched about half of it.  Very neat.  Nasty place that cave.  Very hot, sharp, and humid.  The crystals are also soft so you have to watch where you step or they just crumble out of the way and send you for a tumble.
