My first comment started off "Photoshop rides again..." ... but on further investigation, it's legit;

I think it'd make a great tourist attraction.  Now, just gotta figure out how to steal one of those pillars...

I hope you didn't take that as anything other than sarcasm, Pos, or that your own comment was anything other than sarcasm.  We know how gypsum crystals form.

I knew you were being sarcastic and do me a favor.

STOP CALLING ME FUCKING POS!

Cripes Kate on a rubber crutch I hate that!

On a more serious note, sometimes the obvious is just obvious. To me it is obvious that the universe was created. Now some people try to think their way around it when in reality it is the most obvious conclusion.

You can't prove it either way so you have to make a choice.

Not that I agree, but who was talking about the universe?  I was talking about giant gypsum crystals.  Do you think your god put them there as they are?

Well, they are a part of the universe. That part is obvious. Something that appears to elude you.

You cannot seperate pieces of the universe from the universe in general if we are talking about it's creation and the result of that creation.

Everything physical is a part of the universe.

However, never mind all that. Giant formed crystals. Coolness.  ;D

THE ONLY ONE NOT COMPREHENDING HERE IS YOU!

You would not understand the answer if i wrote a 1000 word essay. So I will answer this. Yes and no.

It is a result of the universes creation as far as I am concerned, however they did form as the universe did with time. So in a way, yes He did. It just took a while.

Are you smoking up or something or is what I am saying to far above your head?

So it's not designed in your view either, then.  You could have stated that originally.  Caused is not the same thing as designed.

No. It was designed along with the rest of the universe. I believe, and it is totally possible, that the universe was designed with all it's properties, with everything that is in it because it is ALL a part of the universe. These crystals are not seperate from the universe, so they were designed as well.

Somehow I knew you would not get it. Of course, I do not think that you are that stupid so I will assume that you are f**king with me.

Of course I am not surprised. Most of you cannot understand the concept that free will and pre-determination can exist simultaneously.

If the universe was created, and it most certainly was, the entity that created it would have designed it's entire existence throughout time and know everything about it, how it would form, and change and eventually become nothing but particles. It would have known that these  crystals would form because it would have made it so. This entity would have to be vastly intelligent and have a perception of everything in this said universe.

This entity would be so far above our level understanding that I am not surprised that most of you are atheists. God is something that you cannot understand, and that bothers you.

Well it does not bother me anymore because I do not care what you think. I believe in God, I believe in Christ, and that's that. There is no changing my mind.

However, enough of that.

I said what I had to say about the crystals. Absolute coolness.  8)

Um, that's because they can't. If pre-determinism is true, then everything that happens was bound to happen, meaning you have no choice.

You believe in a magical wizard that made everything, yet hides from us, yet you also believe he knows what's going to happen to us....yet we still have a choice...even though he already knows what we are going to do.

One thing wrong here.  God isn't a wizard.  He's either a warlock, or a DM.
