1.) Uncommon or rare because it's difficult.

I was under the impression god was omnipotent?

2.) Catholics/Christians don't usually starve.

Most of the peoples suffering in Africa are caught in the middle of wars, drought, or other bad times. They're mostly Christian or Muslim.

6.) Suffering can be a Blessing.

And how exactly is suffering a blessing? Would you ever use the phrase, "oh, blessed suffering." I hope not.

7.) The Shroud of Turin will be retested.

Unfortunately it probably will be. Christians just don't want to admit what the scientific tests show. The shroud is not of jesus's burial but from somewhere in the middle ages.

Irish covered most of this, but I just had to be amused that Christians want to use science on the Shroud of Turin but when that science gives them an answer that they don't like, they try to ignore it.

I also love how you say that God only cares for those who obey him in that "Catholics/Christians don't usually starve".  So much for a "good" deity.

and people in the future will consider eating chicken wrong?  Oh, please tell me of this "prophecy"  ;D

oooh, and please tell me how you can tell the difference between the metaphor and the literal bits of the Bible?

OP, these answers appear a bit simplistic. Would you care to join up and flesh them out a bit more?
