I recall correctly, it's at his home. I've been to it. ;D
Airyaman:
Ah, another (pseudo) Christian bringing up the idea of proving the existence of another figure in "history". The problem with this is that we are not told we must believe George Washington existed to avoid hellfire. Nor any other person except one particular 1st century Jewish radical. What's even worse, this Jewish radical didn't even say it until later writers decided it must be so. The synoptic gospels say nothing of having to put our faith and trust in Jesus, and in particular, Mark, the first gospel, even has this Jewish radical saying he is not good.
Oh well, it doesn't take long for a message to be corrupted so that it may be used for gain.

Personally, I think a 'jesus' could have existed but to assign anything more then a jewish prophet or a gnostic preacher is doing far more then can be done. ...

Along those lines its interesting that the oldest known gospel ends with the empty tomb ...

yep. It seems that the "resurrection" wasn't a given then.

That's because they knew that with a cliff-hanger ending like that, people will flock to read the sequel.
hideousmonster:
George Washington didn't exist. The American Revolution was just an elaborate hoax orchestrated by the king and the bank of England to convince the world that the American colonies created and controled their own government. That way the king could do whatever he wanted with North America and its inhabitants, profit through his bank, and convince the world that England would not be responsible for the actions of the United States.
Well, that's probably not true at all, but it might as well be.
