My nym is TGHO (The Great Hairy One) and I've been an atheist all my life. I used to regularly debate with theists online at alt.athiesm and alt.atheism (usenet, if you remember back that far). I've begun to miss theological discussions, so thought I'd sign on here and start posting. I've been lurking for about a year, getting the feel of the forums and personalities before actually posting.
Some personal background - I've got a science degree, majoring in Genetics & Biochemistry, I've worked as a scientist and have actually
done science. Nothing published though, as I gave it up for IT, which I enjoyed more. I've also got a MSE (Masters of Software Engineering), and am currently working on an MBA. As such, I believe I'm relatively well educated.
