Mostly anyway.  With 100% of those receiving the highest dose either being cured or having greater than 50% remission, this is a BIG deal.  What has God done for you lately?

Science is also on the brink of a cure for arthritis.

Quote
One injection 'vaccine' cure for arthritis

A single injection that could cure rheumatoid arthritis is being developed by British scientists.

The treatment works like a vaccine and could be available within five years. Cells would be taken from the body, altered, and injected back into the affected joint.
A team at Newcastle University will now test the vaccine on volunteers with the disease.
Scientists in the field are extremely excited about the development.

Paper today had another intresting article (which I havn't found online yet). Sceintists found a way using stem cells to make red blood cells. This one is huge.

Imagine a world with no blood drive, every hopsital has all the type specific blood they'll need, including the ultra rare ones, with no risk of disease. That's what is just around the corner.

Wow!

Stem-cell research is the most important reason to fight religion and the "abortion debate".

Correction:

Science>Religion to understand how to deal with the world around us.

What is science without meaning, and what is religion without truth? Nothing.

Science>Religion to understand how to deal with the world around us.

What is science without meaning, and what is religion without truth? Nothing.

The best thing about that proposition, is that it is testable ... and half of the equation balances!
Smart people believe weird things because they are skilled at defending beliefs they arrived at for non-smart reasons. --Michael Shermer

The history of religion is a long attempt to reconcile old custom with new reason, to find a sound theory for an absurd practice.  --Sir James George Frazer

I've yet to see a bit of truth from relgion.

I have too many responses to your statement about meaning. Care to explain how you meant meaning?

This is great news.  The study though seemed small, just the trial phase I guess.  I'll hold back my feelings until a larger study is done though.

Obviously, the secret to curing cancer was revealed to them by God. How dare you suggest that Man, not God, was responsible for bettering mankind?
