Christians are so bigoted that they are blind to their bigotry

Christians are so bigoted that they are blind to their bigotry. Case in point:

She didn’t retaliate against you. She prosecuted you for your discrimination against a minority. They “fire you for your beliefs” when your “beliefs” discriminate against others.

Your same repulsive Bible that says “homosexuals should be killed” also is violently sexist and oppressive to women. If we allowed your “beliefs” and your Bible to hold any sway, your manager would not be able to work in any company. That is why you are expelled from the workplace.

Why should this woman not have the right to talk about the person she loves in passing conversation at work like everyone else in the free world does? what an asshat.

We live in a strange place. The PC police allow a terrorist to remain in the military and take up for him when he murders but a Christian is fired believing in traditional marriage. I hpe he sues for big money.

A Christian is not fired for his views of traditional marriage, just for spreading them where they are not wanted. It is as unwanted as spreading fireants around someone’s apartment and just as uncomfortable. It is also wrong to say that you only believe in ‘traditional marriage’ and as such tell a co-worker in your office that is married to someone of another race that he is wrong. It is harassment and it is wrong!

As a Massachusetts citizen, I don’t give a rat’s ass if he’s uncomfortable. I’m uncomfortable when some bigot starts spouting religion. As they said, gay marriage is LEGAL here. It is a fact. Quit calling her fiance “so-called,” you bigoted slimeball. “Perceived” that it’s legal???? Eff right off, buddy. It IS legal. YOU don’t get to make the laws here. You disgust me to my core. And no, I’m not gay, so his co-hate-mongers don’t need to bother getting out that particular strawman.

No Heidi you are just a hater. Obama is a legally elected president so we can’t complain about him? As a citizen of Mass are only those who agree with laws aloud to speak? Your arguments are foolish. Christianity is legal so you may want to keep your mouth shut about that as well. Actually citizens are suppose to make the laws through their reps so you are wrong there as well. You man is not even straw, it is legless.

Is the real issue here not homosexual marriage and bigotry but the fact that everyone is entitled to an opinion and to speak their mind freely. I do not necessarily agree with why this guy was fired, but I do think he should have been fired for trying to silence someone else’s opinion. Yes, you can and should be able to tell anyone your illogical opinions that homosexuality is “bad stuff”, but you cannot and should not be able to tell/ask someone to stop speaking about their opinion/lifestyle just because you can not handle it. This guy needs to grow up and learn to respectfully listen to other’s ideas just as we gave him the respect of listening to his.

You didn’t just state your opinion, you asked her to stop. That’s not okay. And (as Heidi said) what’s with the “so-called female fiance” crap? When you repeatedly use rhetoric like that, it’s hard not to think you are smugly judging a person by their lifestyle. Also, can I refer you to some video editing software? Good lord, this 7 minute video has 3 minutes of information in it. I fell asleep for a little while, but woke up in time to not feel sorry for you.
