Sean Hannity is a “devout Christian” who knows nothing about Christianity

A hilarious interchange between Michael Moore and Sean Hannity:

Hannity vs. Moore on ‘Capitalism: A Love Story’

Some hilarious quotes that demonstrate the idiocy of “American Christianity”:

MOORE: I’m a religious fanatic? Yes, I am, actually. I believe that when Jesus said that you’re to love your neighbor…

HANNITY: As yourself.

MOORE: … as yourself, you’re to love your enemy. Do you love your enemy?

HANNITY: I don’t hate you, by the way.

MOORE: Do you love your enemy, though?

HANNITY: Yes, I do.

MOORE: You do?

MOORE: So you love Al Qaeda, then.

HANNITY: No, I don’t love them. I love them in the sense that I want to destroy them.

MOORE: I don’t think that’s the love Jesus was talking about.

HANNITY: I want them to see — they want to go see Allah, I’m all in favor of giving them a first class ticket if — if they don’t respect human life and dignity.

HANNITY: Because I think you’re an unapologetic socialist, however you want to describe yourself. Fair?

MOORE: Christian.

HANNITY: I’m a Christian.

MOORE: Yeah, well…

HANNITY: But we have different views on the economic system.

MOORE: Well, no, but I believe in what Jesus said that…

MOORE: You — well, are you Catholic?

HANNITY: I’m Catholic.

MOORE: Really? Did you go to mass on Sunday?

HANNITY: Every Sunday. I went to…

MOORE: You went to mass this past Sunday?

MOORE: What was the sermon about? Do you remember the Gospel?

HANNITY: It was about Michael Moore and capitalism.

MOORE: No, no, come on. You didn’t go! You didn’t go!

HANNITY: I go every Sunday, I go every Sunday.

MOORE: Well, so, do you remember the Gospel this past Sunday?

HANNITY: I don’t remember the Gospel this past Sunday.

MOORE: It was just two days ago.

Since Moore is religious, he gets caught in his own trap as well:

HANNITY: So here’s my question. If you really believe this lecture you’re giving me on religion.

HANNITY: And you have all this money. And you have other rich, influential friends that perhaps agree with you.

HANNITY: And you don’t like capitalism.

MOORE: Mm-hmm.

HANNITY: When I saw those people in your movie being evicted, and it — I didn’t like it either, but we have a different view.

HANNITY: Why don’t you just take your money and donate? Why don’t you start an organization to help people in that situation?

If they are both “Christians”, why don’t they give up everything and follow Jesus? Like this:

I think Moore uses Karl marx’s “Manifesto of the Communist party as his bible”. He only substitutes Jesus as Karl. When I heard him claim he was a christian I fell back in my chair. Obama & Moore are two peas in a pod. I think he is up for a Czar position.

It doesn’t really show Hannity knows nothing about Christianity. It’s not a very good conversation IMO.

Why do intelligent Atheists misquote Scriptures?

“Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.” -Luke 18:22

18:22 Yet lackest thou one thing – Namely, to love God more than mammon(money). Our Saviour knew his heart, and presently put him upon a trial which laid it open to the ruler himself. And to cure his love of the world, which could not in him be cured otherwise, Christ commanded him to sell all that he had. But he does not command us to do this; but to use all to the glory of God.- John Wesley’s note.

“22. lackest . one thing-Ah! but that a fundamental, fatal lack.

sell, &c.-As riches were his idol, our Lord, who knew if from the first, lays His great authoritative grasp at once upon it, saying, “Now give Me up that, and all is right.” No general direction about the disposal of riches, then, is here given, save that we are to sit loose to them and lay them at the feet of Him who gave them. He who does this with all he has, whether rich or poor, is a true heir of the kingdom of heaven.”- Jamieson , Faucett , and Brown.

“18:18-30 Many have a great deal in them very commendable, yet perish for lack of some one thing; so this ruler could not bear Christ’s terms, which would part between him and his estate. Many who are loth to leave Christ, yet do leave him. After a long struggle between their convictions and their corruptions, their corruptions carry the day. They are very sorry that they cannot serve both; but if one must be quitted, it shall be their God, not their wordly gain. Their boasted obedience will be found mere outside show; the love of the world in some form or other lies at the root. Men are apt to speak too much of what they have left and lost, of what they have done and suffered for Christ, as Peter did. But we should rather be ashamed that there has been any regret or difficulty in doing it.”-Matthew Henry

You see The Lord Jesus Christ what The Rich Man loved more and the Rich Man boasted and all sorts , not unusual .The Lord Jesus Christ PUT HIM ON THE SPOT like He does daily with you Atheist. Let me put it to you in a way you understand , HOPEFULLY. You have all the friends in Atheism and your reputations and even charities to sue to us Christians .Supposing you would find what you belived to be a lie and counted the cost .I have the evidence The Lord Jesus EXISTED and died and rose again the third FROM A NON-CHRISTIAN (Cornelius Tacitus , A.D. 55-120) . Would you leave your Atheist friends and lifestyles and follow The Jesus Christ and let be your you Lord , Saviour, and Master?

That is what The Lord Jesus was telling The Rich Man and what He tells YOU everyday.

    Matthew 6:20 “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;
Matthew 19:21 Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
Luke 12:33 “Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves money belts which do not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near nor moth destroys. (NASB ©1995)

Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
    one. 10:42 Ps 27:4 Php 3:13 2Pe 3:8

    sell. 12:33 16:9 Mt 6:19,20 Ac 2:44,45 4:34-37 1Ti 6:18,19

    and come. 9:23,57-62 Mt 19:21,27,28

If you found out The Lord Jesus Christ is REAL like I have would you give up your Atheists Associations , lifestyle , money friends , and be His son and servant and go evangelize the world and teach believers The Bible because you will have by then converted to one yourself?

    The choice is YOURS TODAY.

Depends on which Gospel You read. Matthew, if I remember correctly, was written for a poorer community of Christians and damns the rich in a number of places. Luke, on the other hand, was the product of a wealthier class of Christians, and places fewer demands on those who have. Ah, religion, you can always find what you want to find…

lol, say what AuBricker? I’m not sure you even have a point, however…..

Matthew was a former tax collector in the day and Luke a physcian. Luke also wrote Acts and traveled with Paul, Matthew was formerly known as Levi. Both wealthy in the day. Are you attempting to argue they contradict one another?

Sean actually is quite aware. Wouldn’t loving your neighbor mean keeping a bunch on hate-filled militant muslims from murdering your countrymen?

Wouldn’t loving your enemy mean keeping them from their hateful intentions of taking human life?

It seems some have a very childlike or maybe just a very partisan vision of love. Grow up.

The video was well put together. The portion at the end about fearing other Christians, was a good argument. Including that “your kid might be kicked out of the boy scouts” hurt the argument. Being Christian has nothing to do with being in the boy scouts, while it is true the organization acknowledges a god, it would not kick some one out for not being a Christian, St00pid n00bz. take it out so your argument at the end has no week points. Sean Hanity has never once in his life thought before he spoke, which perhaps is why he lies so much. HAIL SATAN!
