Go to the web site..”reasons to Believe” and also read Josh McDowells book ” more than a Carpenter.”

At reason to believe you will discover that an astro Physist using computers calculated that the odds of the earth coming into existence any other way than as described in the bible are 15,000,000 to the 10th power to 1 that it could have occured any other way. That’s good enough statistics for me.
Reasons to believe demonstrates how science and the bible fit together perfectly.

Good luck and keep asking and searching.

By the way…at “Reasons to Believe” your hearing from Christian Scientists…PHD’s

Aslo, there are many Physicians out there who would not in the entire life of there medical careers doubt the existence of God.

Perhaps you could find the book titled something about …90 minutes in Heaven. I doubt anyone from this organization “Why won’t godd heal amputees” will ever convince that man, after being pronounced dead for 90 minutes ever convince him there is no higher authority.

“the facts of nature will never contradict the words of the Bible when both are properly interpreted.”

This is an excerpt from http://www.reasons.org in the ‘Our Purpose’ section. Since you weren’t clear about the website I just googled “reasons to believe” and went to the first website that showed up. I’m assuming your talking about this one.

So, what exactly is a “proper interpretation”? Who decides what the proper interpretation is? The people on this web site? Why do you need to reinterpret the bible to fit scientific facts? Since the bible was supposedly inspired by an omnipotent and omniscient god, shouldn’t it be plain to read, easy to understand and fit with science also, so that one wouldn’t need an interpreter? Better yet, why would this alleged god rely on such a crude means of communications with his creation when he has the ability to let us each know individually that he exists in such a way that no one would question his laws or existence?

If you can answer any of these questions in any meaningful way without resorting to logically flawed arguments I’ll be impressed.
