The people you’re talking about will never see the point you’re making. They don’t see a giant cross as equivalent to a giant symbol of a different religion, because the different religion is “wrong”.
Obnoxious and rude is a virtue for religious people. Calling them out on it doesn’t shame them.

Eghh! I would be so disgusted if this was in my city. Of course there’s no way it would ever, this is a pretty sensible and secular place- thank god haha!
