The Insanity of Muslims

The following cartoon is posted on Facebook. Note that it is posted on the Facebook page for an American group of atheists. Note that the cartoon is funny:

Many of the responses to the comic contain an amazing display of savagery. Here is a collage of some of worst:

Over on Reddit, there is an attempt to understand/explain why Muslims behave in this way:

Love notes from Muslim visitors

This is a religion of peace and love? How can a religion of peace and love have so many violent followers? How can it have Burqas? Honor killing? The argument might be, “these violent people do not represent the true Muslim faith.” But if they do not, why are there so many of them following the religion? Why are Arab countries filled with these sorts of people? Why would kind, decent people want to be a part of a religion that provides harborage for people like this? It would be like a kind, decent person joining the KKK.

The following post provides another take on the Muslim faith:

Islam is not a religion like any other, here’s why.

Why would decent people behave like this?

“Why would decent people behave like this?”

Simple answer here really. Man at his very core is evil. Man when pressured will typically resort to selfishness, survival and disregard of others.

Every religion, people group and nation has their bad apples who resort to these tactics without pressure. Lenin, Mao, Saddam inhabit most people groups. The one with the lowest incidents of such brutality and killings is Christians. Christianity at the core teaches one to love their enemies and love your neighbor as yourself.

You keep telling yourself that “Dez”. Meanwhile the rest of us sane and caring people will continue to be repulsed by you Christians who indulge in such barbaric acts as burning people alive for “being suspected of witchcraft”, which is code for not accepted Jesus as your savior.

But, yes, “Dez” you just keep on telling those lies about how you nice Christians treat people who don’t believe in your imaginary friends.

And let’s be clear. Unlike the shit you make up to change the subject in order to avoid admitting that your god is imaginary, what’s below is actually real.

Sorry, I am not evil. My wife is not, neither is my daughter. My parent were not evil human beings.
I personally know more than 1000 people and none of them is evil.
All of them are atheists, but, of course, I know MANY religious people who also are NOT evil.
I met people in my life for which I could say they were bad people (Evil? Not sure), but compared to other people I knew or I met, the number of such people is very small.

    Your generalization is wrong.
I would not know whether or not “evil” people prevail in this world, but it is obvious that there are MANY people who are NOT evil.

Religions spread evil. Religions teach hate and intolerance.
When you read the article about Muslims, what essential difference can you see between them and Christians?
Christians used to do EXACTLY the same things until “yesterday”: killed and burned non-Christians, imposed their religion to other nations with “fire and sward”, held slaves, …
What IS the difference? Eating pork?

The difference is only in TIMING. Christians already passed through some sort of “sobering”.
    Muslims will too.

So, if I kill 2 children, and you kill 12, I am a better (less evil) human being?

If someone hold slaves, and someone else hold less slaves, or treats them less brutally, the latter is “less evil”?

If someone direct his plane to a building in name of his god, and someone else kills millions in name of HIS god (Hitler, Inquisition, …), the letter is “good”?

WHAT is your logic in this comparison?
    Less victims, less evil?

CHARLOTTE,North Carolina (9/11/12) When the DNC came to Charlotte, area churches, 100 of them, offered hospitality, not knowing how much the Dems hate God and would actually boo God at the convention. They had no idea how that hatred would be directed at them and their churches.

The Sunday before the DNC, over 9000 people had come together to pray for the convention. Then, wanting to extend hospitality to the visitors to their city, 56 of the churches set out to “Adopt-a-Delegation.”

They put together gift baskets featuring Carolina Pralines and a letter welcoming them to the city and offering assistance in transportation, childcare or spiritual matters.

According to writer, Todd Starnes, The DNC banned the churches from distributing the gift baskets to delegates because, DNC said, the congregations hold values that are contrary to the party platform. Read that carefully.

David Benham, one of the organizers of the outreach said, “We were just trying to display Southern hospitality.” DNC officials, however, conveyed to city leaders that the Christians would not be allowed to present their gift baskets.

Even the Charlotte Mayor’s office jumped in to tell the churches not to participate, saying that their views on women’s rights are contrary to the platform. That’s right….the same platform that booed God later.

Benham then asked if they could send welcome letters to the delegates. Again, the DNC refused, because, they said, “The churches hold pro-life values.”

The baskets did not contain a single political or pro-life message. They just wanted to give them regional candles and a welcome letter. The DNC refused to return numerous phone calls seeking comment.

But it gets worse. When a gathering of 200 Muslims showed up to pray for the convention, the Dems welcomed them with open arms and the liberal media gave extensive national coverage.

It is ironic that this day, in the shadow of that Islamic prayer event, we commemorate the greatest tragedy in American History, when Muslims attacked America on September 11, 2001, brutally killing thousands.of innocent people.

Muslims who publicly state their hatred of our country with fierce determination to kill us all and put America under Sharia Law, are welcomed by the Democratic Party while Christians are pushed out of sight like criminals because they respect life and hold family values.

These are the same Democrats who want you to vote them into office to direct the United States of America and every life from beginning to end. It is obvious that we must not let this happen

If you could get rid of everyone who doesn’t share in your belief of a fairy tale religion, then you would, wouldn’t you? After muslims, who’s next? For xtians, freedom is the ability to force xtainity upon anyone they want.

“These are the same Democrats who want you to vote them into office to direct the United States of America and every life from beginning to end. It is obvious that we must not let this happen”

Right, what you want is for xtians to do that, not muslims.

I have a great idea – just to clear the air and get a clean start, let’s get rid of everyone of all religions. What would you think about that? We could get rid of the muslims and the xtians. It’s only fair, right?

Actually, the “mission” was to “to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science and engineering — science, math and engineering.”

On one hand we all complain that muslims are a bunch of backwards religious fanatics. On the other hand we complain when an attempt is made to bring them out of the stone-age and become contributors to the scientific community. (If anything, you dumb-ass, you should welcome the effort through science to convert muslims.) It happened to xtians, so maybe it can happen to muslims. If backwards religious thinking like islam and xtianity can be eliminated by teaching science, then I’m all for it.

Some one with true strength will not hate the people who make fun of him. Instead he would forgive them and pity them.

    The miricale of the sun.

The people had gathered because three young shepherd children had predicted that at high noon the Blessed Virgin Mary would appear in a field in an area of Fatima called Cova da Iria. According to many witnesses, after a period of rain, the dark clouds broke and the sun appeared as an opaque, spinning disc in the sky.[4] It was said to be significantly duller than normal, and to cast multicolored lights across the landscape, the shadows on the landscape, the people, and the surrounding clouds.[4] The sun was then reported to have careened towards the earth in a zigzag pattern,[4] frightening those who thought it a sign of the end of the world.[5] Witnesses reported that their previously wet clothes became “suddenly and completely dry, as well as the wet and muddy ground that had been previously soaked because of the rain that had been falling”.[6]

Estimates of number present range from 30,000 to 40,000 by Avelino de Almeida, writing for the Portuguese newspaper O Século,[7] to 100,000, estimated by Dr. Joseph Garrett, professor of natural sciences at the University of Coimbra,[8] both of whom were present that day.[9]

The event was attributed by believers to Our Lady of Fátima, a reported apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the children who had made predictions of the event on 13 July 1917,[10] 19 August,[11] and 13 September.[12] The children stated that the Lady had promised them that she would on 13 October reveal her identity to them[13] and provide a miracle “so that all may believe.

Some times I post things about this on my blog, so you can look there. Also I recommend you listen to the Jonathan Park CD series which are very informational. You can find them at: http://www.visionforum.com/browse/product/jonathan-park-complete-adventure-collection/. Research the web, ask friends or people you meet, etc. Read the Bible. Ask yourself these questions honestly: Where did I come from? Where am I going? Where did the world come from? Where did good versus bad come from…? And, if you really want to know the truth simply dive into and research everything with no bias. Remember there are two sides to ever argument, and you have to fully understand each side before you can determine which side is right. If you don’t understand… well you can’t understand! So I encourage you to research and think deeply, look around you, what is the meaning of life? There is for sure a good and a bad, where did it come from? Did the world that is created so perfectly, the world that if it was any closer or farther away from the sun, that is so perfectly balanced and made in every way come into existence from nothing? That is not scientific. I have to go now, please research it yourself or you’ll never understand and see. Bye bye!

If it if proof you want, well here it is.

    What the site says is:

“No scientific study has ever found any evidence that prayer works.

There are two possible conclusions to draw from these statistical studies and the situation with amputees:

God somehow detects every non-ambiguous situation (like amputees) and every situation where a statistical study will be done and he “refuses” to answer prayers in those situations.

God is imaginary and does not answer prayers at all. In every case where it appears that God “answers” a prayer, it truly is nothing more than a coincidence.

One problem with the first explanation is that it contradicts what Jesus teaches about prayer in the Bible. Jesus says that he answers payers. He never says, “don’t pray to me unless the situation you are praying about is ambiguous.” Another problem with the first situation is that it is possible to analyse any prayer with statistics, meaning that God cannot answer any prayer.

In other words, we reach the same conclusion: God is imaginary.”

It only matters what you can prove caused it (except that it didn’t happen). You haven’t proven anything nor provided ANY evidence for your imaginary god.

Your God Of The Gaps “argument” is a tired, old, debunked one. Thousands of years ago, it could not be explained why volcanoes and earthquakes occurred. Therefore, the only explanation could possibly be that an angry volcano god was responsible. Tom, your flawed argument for your imaginary god was used thousands of years ago by ignorant, backwards people. Is that what you are? What’s next, miracles? Oh wait, The Misguided already used that equally stupid nonsense.

“Exactly how do all those events unfold to get us here today?”

Again, irrelevant. Do you have any evidence for your imaginary god or not? If you want to discuss cosmology or evolution, then go to a forum or site that discusses those subjects. The lack of knowledge about natural events is not evidence for god. According to your convoluted logic, because some people who still live in isolation and aren’t knowledgeable of germ theory believe in evil spirits that cause sickness, therefore, evil illness causing spirits must be real!

From the same wiki article that messenger pasted his account:
Despite these assertions, not all witnesses reported seeing the sun “dance”. Some people only saw the radiant colors. Others, including some believers, saw nothing at all.[27] No scientific accounts[clarification needed] exist of any unusual solar or astronomic activity during the time the sun was reported to have “danced”, and there are no witness reports of any unusual solar phenomenon further than 64 kilometres (40 mi) out from Cova da Iria.[28]
Pio Scatizzi, Society of Jesus, described the events of that day on Fátima, and he concluded:
The … solar phenomena were not observed in any observatory. Impossible that they should escape notice of so many astronomers and indeed the other inhabitants of the hemisphere… there is no question of an astronomical or meteorological event phenomenon…

“Seven I don’t know. Who do they say? All people belong to God and he loves them all.”

They say GOD is answering their prayers.
They all say there is no but ONE god, exactly as YOU do.
Is there ANYTHING that could make me trust you more than I trust Muslims and Jews about god answering prayers?
You ALL trumpet the same story: god answer prayers, and does it in 3 ways: sometimes he says “yes”, sometimes “no”, and sometimes “wait”.
WHAT is it that makes YOUR stories about answered prayers more relevant than stories of Muslims or Jews, or …?
It is important to conclude at this place, based on total equality of their and Christian claims:
Either the same god answers the prayers to all of them (Christians, Muslims, Jews, …) or ALL of them talk bullshits. Christians not excluded (why would they be?).
Now, IF there is only ONE god, who answers prayers to Christians, Muslims, Jews, … , it is OBVIOUS that he (god, if there is any), DOES NOT CARE WHAT YOU ARE.
“All people belong to god and he loves them all”, AND he also, obviously, answers their prayers, because he loves them all.
So, god obviously ACCEPTS prayers of Muslims, Jews, …, AND answers them! All of them are his children, aren’t they?
He (god) does not see (or does not care for) any difference between Muslims and Christians: he treats them ALL as his children, and answers the prayers to ALL of them.
Christians, Muslims, Jews, … , are ALL equal in god’s eyes. God does NOT distinguish people by religion, it is obvious, isn’t it?
Christianity, Islam, Judaism (atheism), are all the same for god.

So, what is the meaning of you being a Christian, or someone being a Muslim?
No meaning at all! Obviously NOT IN EYES OF GOD.

It was shown that “answered prayers” perfectly fit random events, that occur in all religions and in all societies, and, of course, in nature.
If you pray for someone to be haled of cancer, that person may be healed soon, or may be healed later, or may die.
    SOME “answer to prayer”!

Then, you see that EXACTLY the same things occur when Muslims, or Jews, pray!

Intelligent observer would conclude: god DOES NOT INTERFERE HUMAN AFFAIRS.

If there is such a god (which I do not believe), why would I care for him (her? it?)?

    And WHY WOULD YOU?

“Tom’s” questions are meaningless as are his assertions about atheism. Tom, if you can’t offer proof that your god is anything but imaginary and you then continue to assert that he is real, then you are either a liar, deluded, or mentally ill.

If theists don’t like that statement then they only have themselves to blame. All they do is go round in circles trying to deflect the question. No other subject other than religion has this special pleading. It’s a farce and the religious might as well be insane for all the sense we get out of them in defending their delusions.

Why should people respond to your meaningless, childish, trivial, unsupported assertions when you won’t answer other questions?

That you are brainwashed and dishonest is clear from your comment where you expect people to win arguments “against” you when you haven’t even presented a coherent argument. THAT is really something! Let’s review it:
God creates men and gives them free will.
Free will means FREE will, doesn’t it? It is NOT a type of will someone, including god, expects to follow other rules but rules that origin from the free will they have.

An almighty and all knowing god, who created a man ON HIS OWN IMAGE, SHOULD HAVE KNOWN that people’s fee will will lead to something he did not expect and would not like, including „doing bad things“.
He obviously did NOT anticipate that. He was astonished, bitter and disappointed when he saw people, whom HE created and gave them free will, that they really FOLLOW the free will HE gave them, probably with purpose, probably because he WANTED people to USE their free will.
Then, instead to make some CORRECTIONS after he saw he screw up, he killed them all brutally.

Is THAT something someone expects me to teach my children?
Create something, then, when you see you screw it up, destroy it!

    No, thanks.

It was YOU who said Jesus = Allah.
It is YOU who claims god answers prayers.

    2.

    b) He did not WANT to stop it, in which case he must be a sick monster.

There is the rule in formal logic telling us “Tertium non datur”, which means: something is white, or is not white, there is NO third possibility (if you say it is white, than it is white, and if you say it is grey, it is obviously NOT WHITE).

It makes me wonder just how Omni-Max your god really is. Break it down like this:
    1) god knows the past, present, and future. So god knew the planes would crash into the buildings on 9/11. Your god knew muslims had prayed for the event to occur.
    2) god is all powerful. So, since god knew that there would be innocent lives impacted by 9/11, your god made popcorn and grabbed a front row seat.
    3) Likely many xtians who worked in the twin towers on 9/11 had said their prayers that morning and previous evening.

So, it seems that your god does not answer xtian prayers and, ALSO, will not act to prevent malicious muslim prayers from coming to fruition.
Looks like the attack was approved and planned by god. Or maybe, just maybe, god does not exist.

I doubt you have direct communication to god, it must be that it was YOU who made up that stupid justification for your god?
Well, I understand you. It was really not easy to find less stupid one, because there is NONE, be it less stupid or more stupid!

God did not KNOW (anticipate) what will those terrorists really do? He WAITED TO SEE will they direct the plane to building, or maybe understand they were wrong, and give up to “do good”.

He failed again (like in the big flood)?!
If god was unable to anticipate the future, he certainly could have stopped them at the moment he SAW they will not give up their intention, and WILL hit the building. For example by causing an explosion on the engine of the plane 2-3 seconds before it hit the building.
There would be at least much less victims in such a case.
Not to mention possibility to turn the plane from its path (to avoid victims totally), which was NOTHING for someone who created the entire universe.

    He did NOTHING!
Poor guy, he must have been occupied by peeping through someone’s window to ketch him/her in adultery?

    Now we go again:
Either god was unable to know real intentions of terrorists (in which case god was not almighty, or there was no god at all), or he KNEW what will happen, but did not care (in which case there was a god-monster present).
God’s experiments with his own shit actions are obviously too expensive! Too dramatic! Too TRAGIC!

“If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, … , And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die …”

    or this one
“… and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid … Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die …”

    etc, etc, etc, …

Are THOSE examples of god guiding us to the path of “kindness, forgiveness, love, passion, and peace.”

    Bullshit.

Now, to shorten the discussion, if you tell me that those examples are pulled out of the context, please show me the context from which were those examples pulled of.

211.Anonymous how long will you to understand this. Jesus was never a prophet. He was and is and always will be the one and only God.

211.Anonymous the Muslims and Christians both worship the same God. The only difference between them is the different ideas about the new testament. The Muslims believe that Jesus was just a prophet. The Christians believe that Jesus is God in human form.

213.Severin allow me to explain what those bible verses really mean.

“The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.” (Hosea 13:16) this passage actually means if people turn away from God and his teaching they will suffer from the sins that they have brought upon themselves.

“If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, … , And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die …” this verse means if a son or daughter refuses to learn from there father, have patience with there father, love there father, forgive there father, or help there father then they are wrong and there sins will come at them lie stones being thrown. It does not mean actual stones.

“… and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid … Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die …” this passage means that if a woman or a man has sex with a man or woman that he or she is not married to then he or she will be punished. It does not mean stoning them, during that time period the term stoning meant punishment, not always by stoning.

    Messenger 218 – 221

You are writing horrible things here.
In the first place, I read “stoning to death” in the Bible, NOT “punishment”. How would YOU know that it means something different than it was written?

From your #219 I understand that you understand that people should have been “punished” (you said “suffer”) in case they “left” their god (“turn away from his god and his teachings …).
You obviously JUSTIFY ripping pregnant women and dashing babies’ heads as “punishment” for “turning from his god …”
    THAT IS HORRIBLE!
What god can orders such “punishment” and what normal human being can justify it?

Then, I am asking you directly, WHY, at all, should a lady who sleeps with someone else but his husband, be punished?

I never punished my daughter when she was “disobedient”. I almost always TALKED to her, and told her I disagree with her opinion or her intentions, but if she DID what she planned, SHE will be responsible and suffer the consequences.
She is today an extremely responsible human being, and she thanks me for learning her responsibility for their decisions.

Have you recently visited your shrink?

The reason so many people FOLLOW ISLAM is real simple. Its written in the Koran. Its called “Apostasy” Mohammed put this into the Koran for the sole purpose of growing ISLAM.

I means that every single Muslim child born into a Muslim family is to be a Muslim. The Koran says bluntly that if someone tries to leave ISLAM “KI11 HIM” Plain and simple. The islamic law for leaving ISLAM is DEATH.

THATS HOW ISLAM GROWS. This is a perfect exacmple of using TERROR to grow ISLAM. Threatening your own family with death for leaving. Haven’t you read about the honor ki11ings in America and Canada, not just in the middle east? Muslim parents ki11ing their children for becoming too westernized? Or for dating a NON MUSLIM!? If MUSLIMS are ki11ing their children for simply befriending Non Muslims then why are we allowing this CULT to grow on our soil under the guise of a “Religion”?

Their Koran tells them NOT to befriend us because we are the most vile beings on earth! That is written in the Koran.

ISLAM IS PURE EVIL and will cause the entire western world to go into civil war for our very freedom if we dont GET IT OUT OF HERE!

LOL, Messenger you are a fucking tool.

So, stoning and *all* punishment were only metiphorical [sic]?

Then Saint Stephen was only a metiphorical [sic] martyr, as he was only metiphorically [sic]stoned?

No doubt, Paul’s reference to the stoning was also metiphorical [sic]? Rembrandt’s The Stoning of Saint Peter, is that a metiphorical [sic] painting, or are the physical stones depicted in it metiphorical [sic]?

Now watch. Our latest troll and idiot will now claim that this stoning actually took place but it was the others that were metiphorical [sic]?

    What a fucking idiot.
