An Atheist on Judgement Day

Assume there really is a god of some sort. What happens to an atheist on judgment day? Two takes:

1) Short Story: An Atheist on Judgment Day

2) But what if you’re wrong?

The simple fact is that the “God” of the Bible is so absurd and so self-contradictory that his existence is an impossibility. The idea that any other “god” could exist in its place, and allow such absurdity to infect and delude so many, means that any other god is an absurdity as well, and thus equally impossible. Thus, God is imaginary – any god.

I’m writing to the author. I know you wouldn’t believe any stranger going against your beliefs..

Could you kindly give a thought of this: Please.. I am deeply bothered for you.. Just giving time to think about is all I humbly ask..^_^

The question is If you believe in God? 2 possible answers: Yes and No..

If you choose no: (lets look at long term price and benefits)

    A. If there is no God
A.1 Benefit:you become great since you have proven history wrong
A.2 Price:none because you are God

    B. If there is a God
B.1 Benefit: You become great in your life on earth
B.2 Price: You will suffer in eternal Life(hell)

But If you choose yes: (I believe in GOD)

    A. If there is no God
A.1 Benefit: You will live a life with peace of mind, relying and surrendering everything to Him
A.2 Price: Persecution and struggles as a believer fighting for his belief will be experienced in life on earth

    B. If there is a God
B.1 Benefit: You will life a peaceful life on earth whatever obstacle is experienced because you surrender burdens, worries and you rely on Him for strengh and courage. And You will gain heavenly rewards reserving a higher position in heaven for eternity.
B.2 Price: Yes you may struggle and be persecuted in your life on earth, and this will be superficial/shallow disadvantage to you when your faith is very strong.

Please see the longer term benefit and prices…
Also kindly consider that our life on earth as to eternal life is just the same as a training period for a job that we should be preparing very much for long term enjoyment and happiness..

I hope we could discuss further.. I gave my email address so I could reach you privately… I hope you take this message as a very bothered Christian who wants nothing but share happiness today and for ur everyday in our life here on earth and a levelled up happiness in eternal life if all these efforts and intelligence could be on the better track..

About God’s plan.. this is really part of His plan because the conversion of one man 360 degrees is what excites the angels.. Imagine all the intelligence in this site doubled from experience and this time for God’s cause.. The bigger picture will now be very clear to you too.. ^_^
    God bless…^_^

    Sorry, wrong statement:
If there is no God choice:
A.1 Benefit:you become great since you have proven history wrong
A.2 Price:none because you are God, but your conscience will bother you lifetime and through eternity. Do you really believe there is long term comfort physically and internally being God but since Christians will exist you know there will be hatred somehow.. It’s easy to say I dont care what they think, I won’t be bothered anyway.. But its a bitter feeling too heavy to bear in our hearts.. We become defensive everytime we are reminded of it.. Hope you could reply through email.. privately.. Kindly consider… ^_^

Pascal’s wager has been considered by and its intent / premise is know by any educated theist / anti-theist; I will assume you (with your sloppy interpretation ) fall outside of the before said examples. That said, the wager is faulted; we being convicted of thought crime cannot act to believe successfully and might as well live according to self moral standards.

Actually Pascal and his wager are secure and logically firm as it was when Pascal presented the wager. That is from the Christian viewpoint (atheist never can grasp this point). The atheist, well, they have a whole list of other problems. They have not removed even one possible outcome for eternity.

I would suggest now that you educate yourself on views other than those of fundamentalist apologetics; if I do not believe in my heart that Christ died to fulfill gods laws, than nothing I do will save me from hell. I’m concerned this common, obvious fact will be wasted on the depthless, oafish blindness of a closed minded believer, but I have time to waste; good luck absorbing this very inarguable point. We atheists will never remedy ignorance with the supernatural; that’s what makes us atheists, the ability, humbleness, reserve, humility, and courage to say “I don’t know.”

I would greatly favor those leaning on Pascal’s gamble to read abroad their peers, lest they be thrashed beyond and most likely outside of their respective comprehensive ability; one could always retreat to the company of other theists and leave we non-believers to our vises.

    Mr A-Theist

I am well aware of what make you atheist. Where as you spend a great deal of time attacking the intelligence of theist as atheist are bound to do you still fail to see the point of Blaise Pascal’s wager and why it is rock solid.

I’ll leave you with your delusions of the your humbleness and humility and recommend “Pensees”. See I do know now what Pascal intended and I have the courage to state such.

The Pensees are as diluted as anything else biblically, spiritually, religiously related and won’t be taken seriously by anyone discrediting / without respect for the supernatural. Your post begs me to question your understanding of what Pensees actually exists “as”.

The fact you must ask “why” clearly defines you.

Don’t give up, Many an atheist have successfully discovered the why.
