THE TRUTH – according to Christians

What is THE TRUTH, according to Christians? If you go to this page it is revealed:

Proof That God Exists: Welcome

This website IS about truth. The truth that we are sinners, that we have defied God, that we have offended Him, denied His authority, and put ourselves in the wrong with Him. This website IS about the eternal consequences of our sin, the judgment we deserve for our rebellion, and the only way we can be put right with God

Isn’t that an uplifting message? Everyone is guilty of sin the instant they are born, and just by existing we offend this God creature, and we all deserve to be punished for it. Eternally.

Who would “worship” a God creature who is this ridiculous?

I played along and clicked through it, giving the author due credit for his logical approach. By step 7 I was waiting breathlessly to see which god was going to be given credit for all these Truths! Surprise! The Christian God!

The fact that any Muslim can use the same template for this test and just change the finale so all the references support the Koran puts this test on the same level of lameness as all the other “proofs” thus far provided.

Of course laws of nature are “made of matter”. They are inherent to matter.
They CAN NOT EXIST without matter!

    No morality without matter!

Is absolute vacuum without light (no matter, no energy) moral or immoral?
    Can absolute wacuum “sin”?

They cheat. If you push the button they don’t like you to push, they just turn you back.

    Communist methods!
Lucky we they have no power from times when they burned you if you pushed the “wrong button”.
Lucky we who do not live in countries where they still stone you if you push a “wrong” button!

Can we touch him, see him, smell him, hear him or taste him?

But, they do not allow you the questions they feel free to pose!

    As I said: pure communism!

Don’t all religions who believe in a single God and describe Him as the Creator, or the Infinite, or the Greatest? One obviously false assumption that religions(that believe in a single God) make is that God is All-Good. If God is defined as All-Good, then God cannot possibly be the one responsible for “bad” things that happen(and something must be). Thus, the Devil is created, an All-Bad Devil. But if God is All-Good and the Devil is All-Bad, which is All-Powerful or Infinite? Neither. That’s what’s sad about religion, it contradicts itself and punishes everyone who finds out. In summary, GOD CANNOT BE ALL-POWERFUL IF HE WERE ALL-GOOD. From here we can explain why God won’t heal amputees, since God made them amputees in the first place.

Without name calling or fights, I just have a very simple question?
I know people say there are many contradictions in the Bible, but then I think of this and it reminds me that there is a God.

Who do you think created your brain to think, create airplaines to fly to the other side of the world in just hours, bombs so powerful we can destroy humanity?

I don’t know of any other human that can create another human being. Humans came from somewhere or are you going to suggest we came from an animal, the monkey?
When I think, wow, I have an awesome brain that nobody could have made except God, that’s when I realize there is a God!
Please reply if you can answer. (Please no insults, I won’t have none of that)

I’m sure, as long as you stay respectful, you have nothing to worry about concerning unpleasant pleasantries; we can arrive at civilized communication through common human respect / human decency. There are innumerable errors / contradictions in any given canon, including the bible; but that is hear nor their due to the rationalists non need to contend with a bronze age comic book written by human sacrificialists (I use preexistent words from time to time)in an overtly illiterate corner of pre civilized earth. Your premise, that you have something to be reminded of, is to be seen; you have faith that a supernatural deity exists while failing to incorporate “faiths” definition, which is “without evidence”. Evolution surly did create your brain as is evidenced in numerous accounts of research and scientifically unbiased study; this information is available to anyone, in literary form, via the same international network you are using this moment to spread supernatural propaganda to a group of clearly skeptical non theists. I am glad to introduce you to me, a human who has created not one but two other perfect humans; all it took was the combining of one penis and one vagina to perform said feat, also granted through evolution.

    15 Boz,
Thank you for your kindness: you say it yourself, so we don’t need to be unpolite.
But we will not ignore you, we will teach you!
    And for free.

If morality is immaterial, then interstellar space is a very “moral” place!
Can you smell, see, touch, taste gravity force? Neutrinos?
Yet, they DO exist, and we are able to “see” their existance by searching the consequences of their existance.

Same with morality: no matter (people), no morality, and no consequences of their deeds.
Who is moral or immoral on Jupiter?

Vacuum does not contain any morality!
It is SRICTLY connected with matter.

Morality is not an “absolute value”.

don’t know of any other human that can create another human being.

Light some candles…soft music….few kisses….sperm meets egg….and we’re off to the races. Many other animals partake, horses, whales, fish…minus the candles/music, of course.

Occasionally, however, legend has it that you get a supernatural bastard son, like when god “hits it” and runs.

MrQ’s foot meets mouth. Maybe you could share how you created sperm and eggs. LOL! Q this has got one of the stupidest, no make that arrogant things uttered here.

The switch & electricity analogy is quite good here. Such claims show how easily one of your limited mental fortitude can be hoodwinked into being an atheist.

    So do you have evidence the brain evolved from or MAYBE you created the brain too….? lo;

    Hor,
I thought you were more scientific than that. Well, basically I have the gonads and she has the ovaries. Half my children’s DNA (the better half ;-) ) comes from me and the other half from wifey. We FUCK, she becomes pregnant, and bears a child. Birds do it, bees do it. You surely have heard of the birds and bees. Am I going too quick for you?

Other types of reproduction are witnessed in the animal kingdom. Look up how viruses and bacteria “do it”. Must be divinely inspired, eh?

Some creatures take the easy route and just bud, others, like us, spend our energy crawling on top of each other, sweating, groaning, thrusting….hey, come to think of it, the wife moaned “oh god, that feels good”. Is that the divinely inspired part you are thinking about?

The answer is still, and has not faltered from in the past, evolution; certainly as it is believed by the overwhelming majority in the scientific community that all life on this planet derived from a single celled organism. If this “best excepted theory ” is accurate then, despite your ignorance and stubbornness, the human brain and reproduction system would have evolved to its current state over approximately two billion years. The evidence for my claims (again) can be accessed by anyone with the desire to learn; I will not waste my time leading the stubborn ?im?r to the stream. The quote, “I am glad to introduce you to me, a human who has created not one but two other perfect humans” is mine; I will be enjoying the credit for the remark thank you. When reviewed intelligently, the switch & electricity analogy is quite inappropriate here; the two subjects have no literal / figurative connections needed to construct equivalence. Real thought should be used when communicating with others literarily; haphazardly strewing words onto a screen does not amount to intelligence. If you need to, start with a crayon and work your way up from there.

On evolution, just saying evolution created a brain is not proof of said process. I know you guys don’t like “God diddit” and consequently “evolution diddit” is not proof either. Sounds like faith in action here. I have no problems with some faith but I do realize atheist get uncomfortable with the F-bomb.

“Who do you think created your brain to think,…”

Who/what do you think created god?
Logic does not allow to stop the cause – effect chain on a point you like. If you say: god created (caused) universe, the next question is inevitable, and MUST be properly answered if you don’t want to violate logic: what caused god?

If you say god is supernatural, out of time, self supporting…he did not need to be created/caused, then why the same atributes are wrong to apply to matter/energy? What is wrong in that?

    Intelligence?
Reading the Bible no one would say Christian god was intelligent (same for all religions/gods).
Matter/energy IS intelligent! Natural laws are inherent (“built in”) to matter energy and are universal: under same conditions they will always, and on any place, inevitably act the same way.
So why is not valid to say: matter/energy = god?

Not Biblical god, of course, nor any of gods invented by humans, but god!

What happened to the electrical analogy? Now we’re on to water?

I am one in a long series of sperm/egg interactions. MY children continue the chain. MY sperm, WIFEY’s egg. Each child is genetically traceable to us. Conception, development, birth. Wifey did most of the work when we created our three little “frankensteins”. Where’s the mystery?

Question: Does asexual reproduction qualify as divine also? What about animal reproduction (fish, cow, dog, etc) ?

BTW, Steam is one of the three typical states of water.
