If we as humans are put on this earth for nothing more than to wonder and then die, what is the point of living then. As intellagent people we should know that all things have a purpose. There is no way we are wondering this earth to make it grow and then die. Hopefull thinking…… If you were told you live about 80 to 100 years useally and then die and thats it, or live the same and go to a place of peace and happiness, which one sounds better. Retarded maybe to believe that theres a heaven but a book that predicts what was ,is,and will be. Revelations if read right with an open mind will tell you what is going to happen, but since it was written years back it is already begun weird huh. Just like science, somethings havent been discovered but you know little by little there out there yet we keep searching, but the word is out there and because you cant see it its fake. Talk about contradicting yourself. Oh lets not forget about the earth being destroyed by bombs or astroids but because of humans saying it

Im not tring to change minds everybody thinks what they want, but for people who wonder or search for something church is a place that does not force you to be there or believe there beliefs. God does not punish us for sins. He punishes us for no remorse or forgiveness. Everything talked about on here is not fact nor truth. It is funny, that people believe in what this man on here has said, when the bible reads certain things one way and then it is taken out of text.Yes the bible is hard to understand and there are many religons, but what other book has been here for years is around the world and has more followers then this. Ok look at hittler he had followers right, so he must be right but what he represented was wrong, the devil works as good but if seen through is evil. Ask yourself one question, If being good is hard and living right is hard why is the oppisite so easy then?

    Chris,

Your first entry didn’t make very much sense to me. What was clear though was that it has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Your second entry was at least legible, but it once again had nothing to do with the topic at hand.

You are right that a church does not FORCE people to be there. Church-goers choose to be there. But you think that a church does not force people to believe their beliefs??? I see the threat of eternal damnation as a type of force.

You then mention Hitler. I must say your train of thought is very confusing. I don’t think there are many people out there who would disagree with the statement “what he represented was wrong”. In fact many would go much MUCH further.

I don’t think that being good and living right is hard at all. And what your position has anything to do with the Dawkins\ Militant Atheism is beyond me.
