We all have misperceptions about everything and everyone. When taken to extremes , they become bigotry and this is what Susan is showing in this rant she published on Christian diners. Let’s have done with bigotry in your articles please!

I work in a cafe and They are the worst tippers and customers. Hippie and punk rock kids will give you their last dollar and they treat you with kindness-not so for the Other People. great post.

it is not about demonising you. The fact is that a lot of people will claim (and maybe even believe) that if you dont believe in god you must have no morals. In that context it is important to show that christians are not especially more moral, and in fact often noticably less.

After all, if you can be forgiven for anything you can do anything…

I’m a Christian and I always tip 20%. However Susan you make a great point. I think this story is nothing more than mere propaganda to demonize the opposing side. Politicians do it regularly.

Hmmm… Interesting point you have there. However, what does how a person acts, reflect upon the existence of God? We must remember that most people in the world are hypocrites. In fact, you probably can’t find a person in the world who hasn’t shown hypocrisy ever in there life. This does include Christians. So, I’m sad to say but most Christians aren’t Christians at all. Sure, they go to church and give an offering here and there but when you get right to it, they aren’t acting upon God’s word. However, I do urge you to look at both sides of the situation here. Your point of view that you have already expressed is the Christians at the diners who act rudely. Yes, some of those people are Christians, but not all of them are. Probably most of them aren’t Christians. Certainly all of them aren’t true Christians. Look at all the good done in the world! Sure, not all of the charity being done is by Christians, but a lot is.
