He never had any issues because he followed standard military protocol and was respectful to the military code of honor.

If you deviate and want to remove God when God is a part of the military since its inception, expect problems. It was his own stupidity. God on that document in no way impacted how he should of served the nation.

A Christian woman just recently lost her job because she did not want to drive a city bus with an atheist message on the side placard. See. it works both way or maybe would could just label this incident: “Scary Stuff”.
