i’m with ya. even the kkk clansmen are not getting a fair shake. if i take my kids to a meeting, people would consider me racist. when the clan tries to burn a cross in a public place or even on a black man’s lawn, these damn atheist liberals just get bent out of shape. they need to get over it.

why can’t the kkk have their freedom. after all the majority in this country believe in the same god.

why can’t these liberals just leave the clansmen alone. the clan have their code and it’s a good one.

It Just seems that everyone has there rights besides Christians!! i mean if i burn the Qur’an it be considered a hate crime or a violation against the Bill of Rights. Right? But if someone burns a Bible it be considered art.Right? If there’s a gay pride march and i refuse to take my children id considered the women who hates Gays right and if anybody tried to stop the march they be put in jail for intolerant
behavior. Right? but if theirs a church service in the park and take my kids id be considered a brain washer and I’m sure someone would be offend by it so the take it to supreme court. Right? Cant i have freedom of religion too??

Wow! Such alot of nonsense and so few years for these children to get the real truth about geology and the fossil record. It seems criminal to withhold the evidence of evolution and the age of the earth from these dear children. In a sense, it’s almost like the theocratic lies that are spouted off in the Middle East. Scary part is that these Christian Creationists are trying to use money, lawyers, and a twist on truth to gain access into the public school system. These people are dispicable. Have they even studied evolution? Have they gone out into the lava fields and limestone deposits and learned about the age of the earth? I think not. Nor have they studied the rock record of the Grand Canyon, and those who do will be quick to put on their bible goggles, making it hard to see through the muddy waters of Biblical myth.
I am proud to say that I am a recovering brainwashed Christian. The addiction is harder to overcome than heroine. That’s why these older men proudly boast that they have truth when in fact they are lieing to children. They are addicted and brainwashed into the biggest cult on earth.
This cult will thrive and survive as long as the “Carrot and Stick” scenario is forced and reinforced on those that attend Christian services. The Carrot is the rewards that the Christian God offers to those who obey. Carrots equate to riches,(either on this earth or in the after life), the spouse of your dreams, a decent job, and happiness. When one does not see the carrot rewards fulfilled, it is usually assumed that the person has some dreadful sin in their hearts. The stick is the threat of punishment for those who do not obey. It is represented by eternity in hell when one dies, God’s judgement and wrath on this earth, and a general fear that bad things are going to happen to the disobedient.
The funny thing about that carrot and stick is that when one looks around them they will find that everyone, whether religious or not, is doing about as good, better, or worse as anyone else, depending on the decisions they make. The carrot and stick is one of the sickest forms of brainwashing because there is simply no truth behind it.

And for those that have never seen Jesus Camp, I just want to say for the record, it is not a trumped up political tool to demonize the “Right”. Jesus Camp is an actual fact. I went to Assembly of God camps up in the mountains when I was growing up and they were very similar, excluding the paper doll of Bush however.

Giving children an option to believe in creation and forcing them to believe are two different things. If someone wants to believe in something it’s like Heaven’s Gate or something. However harmful it is people have the option to believe whatever they want. But I grew up in a fundamentalist “Christian” environment where if I had said that I believe in evolution at say age 9 my parents would have literally forced me to believe in creation. I think that’s the difference between free-thinking and brainwashing, you actually give the person the option to believe what they want.

I did not say ATHEIS was religion, but COMMUNISM and FASCISM behaved VERY SIMILAR to religions.
They propagued “atheism” for one and only reason: to exterminate any competition. Their philosophy was never REAL atheism; they tried to replace religions themselves.
Facts are talking themselves: both communism and fascism took roots FIRST in religious countries! Atheists, or not atheists, the leaders/initiators of those bloody regimes were MINORITY in their countries! They would NEVER take power without support of (religious!) population. If you think they would, explain how! A few babblers had no way to win power by force, but ONLY by methods similar to methods religions use to seduce people. terror came later (axactly as christianity: first brotherhood, love…than Inquisition, religious wars, hate…!)

They literally waorshiped Lenin and continued to worship Stalin, untill they saw there was no promissed paradise on earth.
Before religion was forbidden in USSR (not to compete “living gods!”), common people made orthodox priests to make liturgies in churches in glory of Lenin! Then, when people saw what is going on, it was too late!
I live in Europe, close to ex-USSR. As my country was a part of eastern block, I know wery well what was going on here (and there!). Religion was not formally forbiden in my country, but communist coppied religious rithuals very closely! I am old enough to remember many things, and I DID study history just to explain myself such stupid things as “proleteterian revolution” in a country with no proleters (Russia, 99% agricultural country wtih feudal structure, no proleters at all), appearance of fascism in religious countries (Italy, germany), etc.

How many atheists were there to kill the actual (religious) government, actual (religious) army leaders, actual (religious) population (some 150 millions of them at that time!)?
Majority of (religious!) people in Russia DID accept communist government! If you do not accept reasons for that I offered, O.K. tell me yours, but they DID accept communism!
Beacause communism and fascism have structures VERY similar to religions, and are attractive to illiterate poor masses. As easy to seduce poor and uneducated people with communism and fascism, as with religions!

Of course, you do not mention Italian and German fascists, which DID win legal elections, after years of propaganda full of hate and empty promisses, in countries in which you could not find almost a single atheist.

The gulags were full of the religious. Now if you are making the argument atheism is a religion, then you MAY have one point but that would be it.

I suggest you read some history books since you view of history is obviously quite faulty and limited.
