Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.” You also confuse religion with God and my faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ debated the religious of his day. Religion is a curse! Faith in Jesus Christ is a relationship with God the Father. Opposites! Hermes, like Adam, George is an entertainer. As for God showing up, he did that two thousand years ago in the person of Jesus Christ. He reconciled man with God through his sacrificial death on the cross. His return is imminent. At which time he shall cast all who have rejected him to eternal punishment. Especially those who accept a mark on their right hand as is prophesied in Revelations 13:16. Before he returns however the earth shall undergo a period of terrible stress and destruction, Over 4 billion people will die at the hand of man.

According to the bible, God didn’t say there is no “other” god, he said, “You shall have no other gods before me,” which implies the existence of other gods, at least in the brains of the Bronze Age writers who wrote the bible.

Face it—there are not gods of any kind. You’ve been duped, probably by your parents. You should be royally pissed for wasting your time with religion.

As for only your deity can say, that shows you assume the conclusion as strongly as Corolla does. If you deity wants to show up itself, it can tell me that it exists. Till then, Corolla has a point that can’t be dismissed, nor can you dismiss other deities unless you complete the job and dismiss your own.

I wouldn’t base my belief system on how an entertainer perecieves reality. He’s amusing when he says “I know there is no God”. The only person who could say that would be God. That would be ironic indeed! God did say however that there is no “other” God.
