What are you talking about?

The content of the Internet is mostly in English and based on servers that are in the Western world, not the Eastern world.

So, because of that, there are going to be many more websites about Christianity than about Islam – especially sites in English.

Islam is no more violent that Christianity, Judaism or Hinduism. Many more people have died at the hands of Christians over the past two millenia than at the hands of Muslims. This is not to say that some people who claim to be Christian/Jewish/Muslim, etc. don’t commit violent acts in the name of their religion. But it is outright false to claim that Islam is somehow more violent than other faiths.

Quite frankly, those who use violence in the name of their faith are violating the very tenets of their faith itself. There is no religious sanction for violence in Christianity or Islam (aside from instructions that were specific to events in history, such as the commandment by Yahweh for the Hebrews to invade Caanan and basically rape and pillage to their hearts’ content, or instructions from Allah in the Qur’an for Muslims to fight against the polytheists in Mecca who were making war on them and preventing them from worshipping at their holy site.)

Religion is no excuse for violence, period.
