Note also that if this girl, who came from the USA, lived in a country that actually supported stem cell research as opposed to putting up immoral roadblocks, she would likely have had a better chance at gaining the full use of her eyes. As it is now, since her treatment was likely delayed a few years, she may never be able to have normal eye sight.

Yet, where gods are absent, humans have once again succeeded.

Where dogma rules, the immorality of putting a clump of 100 undifferentiated cells above the lives of breathing humans thrives. The Greeks could write no tragedy that matches this reality.
