You’re right Jimson, it is quite clear. It’s also quite clear what you’re supposed to do about homosexuals; namely put them to death. So tell me, are you doing as God commands? Are you actively searching out homosexuals and murdering them? If not, then why not? God has commanded it. He does not say ‘Well, check and see if they’re a good person first’; no, He says put them to death. So please let us know how your homosexual hunting is going.

I admire your steady tone about this; your consistent thinking that goes with the website. After a couple days at the forum I would have probably responded to that article with a lot of bluster about how stupid the Bible is and freedom and this and that, but you stay on the premise that God is imaginary and leave the implications of the church’s hatred of homosexuals alone.

Note:

Perhaps they “reject her authority” because of this:

1 Corinthians 14:33-35 – “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.”

or this:

1 Timothy 2:11-12 â€“ “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.”

The Bible is a license for bigotry and senseless discrimination. It is a book for fools.
