Your argument is called “Pascal’s Wager” and has already been answered sufficiently by many Atheists.
The problem with Pascal’s Wager is that it pretends that it ignores other religions like Buddhism, Judaism, Mormonism etc., etc.
What if the real god is the Flying Spaghetti Monster and because of you rejecting his noodly goodness and accepting your false god you will be denied his great heaven of beer and strippers.
I just also wanted to point out that by rejecting Christianity I am a much happier person. Many minutes that would’ve been spent worrying about such fantasies as the rapture and eternal hell fire may be spent enjoying the one and only life I have.
I would also like to note that I hope the Bible isn’t true since I’d have to sit in a shed for 5 days and kill homosexuals.

Nothing. If you choose not to believe the bible and it turns out to be true what have you lost> Everything.

P-Dunn: the rapture specifies that Jesus himself will take you (not me, because I have fornicated and I once stole a pen from the DMV) in your physical body. But I could be wrong. In this case, I wonder… you’ll need a new body, right? Will he give you a different one? or will he give you the same one? Wouldn’t that be cloning?

God ask to live a certain way to find hapiness. It is up to us to follow this way not necessary through doctrines of many self profiting churches but trough the ones who preaches holiness to God. Then we will see things happenning in this world.

It is hard to believe there is a God when so many are using him for selfish reasons. Those do not bring man to a state of holiness and peace through Him.
Fear has also been a great motivator for members of churches to follow God. Therefore many haven’t understood the message of the bible fully. They have prefered hiding in a non believing state. Yet He is and is to come in our life to bring us delivrance.

When one is concerned with the true meaning and interpretation of the bible He make a way for them to understand further and only peace, harmony, love, confidence can develop from there.

Try again. You should have said, “There is no good empirical evidence.” If you flat out say there’s no evidence, you’re telling me that there’s nothing that would cause someone to believe God exists…No arguments, no experiences, nothing. However, I’d consider objective morality, the fine-tuning of the universe, and the beginning of the universe to be evidence of God.

Not only that, but there is no reason, even in the mythology, for it to happen. Why send a decrepit 95-year-old body, or the ashes of a cremated body, to heaven? A Christian’s only response is, “well, God can do anything he wants.” That statement proves that religion is a fairy tale. The only beings that can do “anything they want” are the imaginary ones.

A Christian’s “only” response, huh? You seem to ignore the option above. I’d argue that our bodies will be replaced.

I also wouldn’t say that “God can do anything he wants,” and any Christian who would say that is uninformed about the God he preaches for. Scripture is clear that God cannot lie. God cannot do anything logically impossible, like create a rock so big he can’t lift it.

It is time for us to dicard all of this mythology because it hurts us as a species.

Really? How much does this actually hurt you? Do you really sit at home and wallow in your own self-pity because you’re being “hurt” by a belief that you disagree with? Childish, yes?

I’m curious. What DOES happen when you pray? How have you been able to successfully quantify the results of your prayer over time? More importantly, by what method does this process of ‘prayer’ effect the kind of results that you desire? I assume prayer is comforting to you in some respect, but you, ultimately, via a certain measurable amount of magical thinking, effect this prayer-derived euphoria; YOU, with the awesome, albeit poorly understood, powers of the mind, powers that will over time be fully described by neuroscience.

You do realize that there are no fewer than 4 billion non-believers on the planet, many of whom were reared in secular households and still others that made a conscientious choice to follow the path of intellectual honesty, which requires a thoughtful consideration of the world and man; a consideration that does not boil the worlds population down into two camps: believers and non believers. Rather, the secular employ the powers of reason to consider all men in the light of reason, and this is the light that, given an opportunity, will afford mankind peace. Your position divides absolutely, divisively and without remorse. If you are relying upon faith for revelations into the nature of life and matter, you aren’t thinking. You need to do a little more reading before coming to these fantastical conclusions.
