Let’s see how that flies regarding Muslim hell (where Fischer is slated to go for worshiping Jesus as a god.)

Can’t you just feel the “love” that the Abrahamic god inspires?

I am eagerly awaiting the day when the Abrahamic religions join the piles of myths past. Shame on anyone who can convince themselves it’s moral and “loving” to torture a sentient being infinitely.

It would not be a loving thing to compel someone like Christopher Hitchens to spend the rest of eternity in a place that he hated, a place that he does not want to be, a place that he has no desire to be, a place that he has spent all of his life resisting, condemning, avoiding, refusing to embrace. To me, that’s not love, that would be a form of cruelty.

Yet, it is OK to justify that your religion would condemn a non-believer to eternal torment and that that action was done out of love.

Bizarre, but full marks for 10/10 fundamental Christian doublethink, Orwell would be proud.

It’s also another clear example of Christian black-and-white thinking and the abusive nature of the Christian’s relationship with their god.
