Yes, I would expect a magician to be the source of information of many Liberal Americans. You will need much magic to keep the crop of politicians now running the country into bankruptcy in office.

I remember well the young black lady being interviewed about all of Barrack’s policies before the 2008 elections.

She replied “Yes it is wonderful” as the reporter went by them one by one.

Turns out every position was McCain’s not Barrack’s.

This is the liberal cancer that will be voting for the one with the most handouts, not the one best to save the nation.

The good point Jillette makes is the one about how xtians are being herded into a monolith versus the sects they correctly occupy. Again, I do not see that as a group in its death-throes. Islam, while having had many sects over time is basically down to two, and this largely is a result of the outside pressure from the Crusades, Mongols, etc.

Yawn. Jillette can be entertaining at times, but he is not deep. He does make a point about his unreasonable optimism sometimes leading to him being wrong. This seems to ring true in light of his comments at the end of screed where he says that Bachmann and Perry are not crazy. Of course this could be explained away: Bachmann has demonstrated time and again her willingness to lie, so the more offensive xtian comments may possibly be discounted, and as a result, her sanity can be argued to be less suspect. Perry is clearly very stupid, which makes it easier to hold xtian beliefs. Stupidity is not the same as insanity, but Perry seems to walk the fine line separating the two.
