Leaving aside the fact that you couldn’t possibly eliminate the lack of a belief – the default position – steps you could take towards furtherance of your goal would be for you to post some evidence for this god of yours. Why don’t you simply do it? Oh yes, you don’t have any.

Naturally I agree that we need to eliminate cognitive failure; your arguments actively preventing your rational discourse on this subject, for example.

Vince, so that you know, Horatio has offered in the past to produce evidence of his god, but he never does. In your case, it sounds as if you believe you have some robust, compelling, and unambiguous evidence for your god. Please do post it.

Really, because I and countless others do indeed deny it. Your contention that it is “undeniable” is therefore false. But, if you’d like to make a case as to WHY YOU think it is undeniable, we’d love to hear it. Be prepared to be challenged to back up your claims with actual evidence though. If you do, it will be a first.

I also looked at the evidence, and it seems undeniable that God does NOT exist. Regardless of any evidence that God does not exist, there’s absolutely no evidence whatsoever that God does exist.

His interest is not in understanding what is correct, his interest lies in portraying non-believers as wrong. To that extent he aptly demonstrates that a theist is capable of accepting the upmost nonsense in the interest of supporting their ideology.

Compare the above position with the comments of DPK who points out that good works occur in people of all beliefs and outlooks. Horatio can’t say that, as the theist position is that their imaginary god is responsible for morals, a belief clung to despite obvious evidence to the contrary.

Likewise, despite his spectacular inability to produce evidence of the sky daddy, he contrives to manufacture arguments against reality-based observations simply to avoid addressing the obvious; the god of the Bible is imaginary, and the result of primitive superstitions ported to modern day.

Think otherwise? Then prove it.
