Well there is no proof for creation either. I would prefer to go by evolutionary theory, that life is a cosmic accident, rather than go by the creationist theory.

For the sake of discussion, say creationist theory is true; then that creator must be stupid and/or a sadist. I say this because the reproductive architecture in human species is skewed. The odds are against women. Men have very little, almost nothing, to lose while women have huge price to pay in terms of motherhood in the gender game. On top of this skewed reproductive architecture the creator also put intelligence in to the same species. Intelligence (not wisdom more often) coupled with such a skewed reproductive architecture in a bisexual species like humans is a horrible (horrendous) combination, which only a stupid and/or a sadist can come up with.

After demonstrating over and over their inability to create non-corrupt institutions, the Roman Catholic Church is now diving into the culture wars on the wrong side as would be expected under the guise of “Religious Liberty” …

Despite that, we currently have some very good evidence about how DNA evolved. Maybe if you spent some time actually reading instead of looking for excuses to continue believing in your dogma, you may be saved from making yourself look silly:

There are no definitive answers here. Just lots of possibilities.
If you want to answer a real question that should have an easy answer… why would god, who exists outside of the physical world, create a universe based on space and time? Why would an eternal god, after an INFINITE amount of time existing, decide to create the universe 14 billion years ago? What happened to make him decide to do this? And, if we are his “ultimate” creation, why did he need to create a universe so vast and largely so inhospitable to life? Wouldn’t one perfect world do?

But the bigger realization is that even IF.., evolution was demonstrated to be absolutely wrong, what would that prove about the existence of gods? Nothing, nada, zip. The origin and development of life is one of the last areas in which their “gods of ignorance” can try to cling to a home. They are reluctant to let it go and let their gods slip further into serving no useful purpose.

I assume you mean macroevolution. The answer is no. They use microevolution as their evidence. How did DNA evolve? How did the brain evolve? They have nothing other than some theories. Not testable, not verifiable.
