Arguing with religious people who quote the Bible/Qu’ran/Torah/etc. to make their point is not a constructive use of anyone’s time.

It is my personal belief that anyone who believes in a god or practices religion is lazy and mentally inferior. Not in terms of intellect but in terms of will. It is just what I believe and what I have observed in 50 years of living. I see it as a crutch, like using drugs or alcohol to cope with the unpleasantries of life. I don’t say these things to insult.

The best example of words to live by I have seen is Desiderata by Max Ehrmann.

Basically you find death penalty in Islamic countries and dictatorships – and the US. Makes you wonder what type of ethical values you need to support death penalty, doesn’t it? In any case, death penalty is a typical non-Western world thing and pretty uncommon in countries with a Christian heritage. I am glad that God is giving so much guidance to the US. (Irony!)
