Even IF there was a god who could but wouldn’t do those things, then how could anybody depend on him?

For example, my pet depends on me to feed, house, and care for him. I want him to survive, and be happy and healthy. He would be dead if I didn’t. Your omnipotent god does nothing for humans except mistreat them. If I mistreated my pet in the same way that your god treats humans, then I would be in jail.
