Hi,

Fellow atheists, in case you didn’t know already, it is pointless (and quite frustrating) to engage “the faithful” in any kind of rational debate about God, Jesus, and the Bible. Unfortunately, humans are flawed creatures who are only a few seconds out of the caves in the grand scheme of things. No amount of evidence (i.e. evolution) will convince these people otherwise. Maybe there is hope – if they can be de-programmed (or not programmed at all) of religion when they are still young enough or open-minded. I don’t mean to sound defeatist, but the odds are not in our favor.

you and your odd book are extremely immature!! Even if my limbs don’t regenerate —-certain basic properties of physicality and life have to hold constant to maintain an orderly planet here for the rest of us—- I still believe in God. If your idea of GOD is as a magic genie answering all manner of people’s prayers you’d wake up daily to a major screwed up and scarry nightmare of a world worse than today because some people’s bizarre whimsical prayers : some people might pray for purple giant heads, ears and tails with stingers or a strange abitliy to read minds, never require sleep, they might pray to become the smartest, richest ruler of earth, take over and eat up all the seafood ,vegetables and hamburgers and yodel incessantly over a loud speaker ……it can get really ugly…..do you really want to live in a world like that?

It doesn’t surprise me about the ‘one true church’ syndrome. I was raised in the Jehovah’s Witnesses. They label the other Christian churches as “Christedom” or as Satan’s version of Christianity. In the Witness world their churches are called congregations. Religious services are known as meetings. I could give you hundred of examples on how they must be completely different from their competing delusions. Nothing must not resemble other christian denominations or the outside world. Hell, they even call themselves God’s Chosen People.

A friend of mine one time asked me what was it like to be in that world. The closest situation would be like George Orwell’s 1984 with a hardcore religious subtext. When their prophecies didn’t come true… there would be a purging of the leadership at the international headquarters in Brooklyn. The victims would be tagged as examples of over enthusiasm for Armageddon. New prophecies would be labeled as “New Light”. Orwell’s Inner Party… the Jehovah’s Witnesses supreme leadership was called the Governing Council. The secret police in the Jehovah’s Witnesses were the Circuit Overseers who would visit the individual congregations within a territory and make sure everyone is Spiritually Correct. I could give you thousands of examples.

Of course, none of this is mentioned when you are awaken on a Saturday morning at 8:00 AM by two visiting Witnesses who want you to be a part of The New System of Things. (their version of a religious utopia)

Godâ€™s wrath is coming because of all the evil deeds done by man.

Done by man? God supposedly created us sinful. He allowed some of us to be born knowing we would not believe in Him. Yet, he went along with it so atheists must be serving God’s will. By the way, God is responsible for evil, not man, according to the Bible (Issiah 45:7). He should have the same consequences as we do if he is to be just.

One of the problems you got is you keep claiming the Bible is wrong. How do you know that? What anti-christian literature written by one fallable author with bad reaserch did you get your ideas from? You’re basing your beliefs based on those things you read in some anti-christian literature by one fallable author with bad reaserch. You put faith in things that give you a very weak foundation. The Bible is written over 1600+ years by 40 authors in different geographic locations and this was done before a printing press. The other issue is your ideas of Biblical morality. The Bible teaches that you’re not a good person. The Bible shows that you do a lot of evil deeds. Such as lying, covetousness, stealing…even your thoughts are abominable. Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the law, psalms and prophets(1600+ years of literature). The Bible teaches Jesus Christ made all things and all things are made for him. Jesus Christ is king of heaven and earth right now as we speak. Jesus Christ is head over all principalities and powers. There is no authority that exsist accept for those Jesus Christ has allowed to be established. You are guilty of doing evil deeds. You do as the Bible says you will do. Such as mocking at amends for sins. Read some proverbs, you do as the Bible says you will do. On Judgement day you will be found guilty because of your evil deeds. That means you do deserve to go to hell forever. Even in our society if a person is convicted of a felony or as a sexual preadator those crimes will follow them as long as they live. do you know Jesus Christ has the power to forgive sins? Jesus Christ says if you humble yourself and turn from your evil deeds that he forgives your evil deeds committed past, present and future. No longer does your conscience have to weighed down by the heavy burdens of all your evil deeds. If you turn from evil and trust Jesus Christ then Jesus will accept you. Jesus Chris won’t turn you away and you will have eternal life and righteousness. Please repent, we do care about you and you should flee from the wrath of God that is to come. God’s wrath is coming because of all the evil deeds done by man.

Eternal life? I hope they have a huge selection of tv channels up there in heaven, or else things are going to get pretty boring after the first few millennia. Oh wait, you won’t have any sensory organs, so I guess you’ll just have to spend your time floating around or something.

What I want to know is, what happens if you do something bad in heaven? Do you get thrown out – because forever is a long time to avoid transgressing one of those (frequently bizarre) rules, don’t you think?
