Nice quote from a movie. Actually, we atheists think that about you. What would you do once you realized there is no god or afterlife? If the truth one day shows that there is a god, then I am sure I can handle it since I would welcome it. I would be glad that there would be an afterlife. Would you be glad if you found out there isn’t one?

You, gentlemen, are waving them befor our noses all the time, but never tell us where can we find them. Where are the sources of them? Where from can we learn something about them?

no, no such thing as moral absolutes in the sense you mean. it’s an invention of human society in order to allow it to function corectly and control destructive behaviour. They are not universal amongst humans always in history but can change as society develops. Good idea and very useful, but not directed by an unseen supernatural being.
