It is simple Thomas. Jesus didn’t but atheist like to pick and choose Jesus’ teachings. Democrats like to use religion to suit their cause then invoke the separation clause when it does not.

Jesus called his followers to help the poor and hungry not gummit. The gummit sure does not so it is up to His followers. They pocket money, don’t pay taxes then go campaigning. We unlike gummit need to help them back on their feet so they can help themselves again.

I am willing to listen to well reasoned arguments. How did Jesus teachings require the government to take from the rich and give to the poor? Was this not an individual mandate done out of compassion of the individual?

How do you incorporate “Those who don’t work don’t eat” into his communist manifesto.

Where has anyone claimed “Green is bad”?

Interestingly polls have show liberals to the less generous than conservatives. Seems they are only generous with the money of others.

It seems some misconstrued a nanny state with compassion. The two are polar opposites.

It looks to me like that he was the first (known) communist on earth.
It is strange how the bunch of people trying to keep the situation on the planet “stasus quo” for their selfish goals (“green is bad”…because we will lose our money) appeal to a communist to prove themselves right.

Such people do not give anything to anyone, neither to government nor to individuals.
They are only seducing ordinary people to lob/vote for their ideas, to keep money and power, and use Jesus as a tool.

If anything Jesus was apolitical. Stephen’s entire premise is wrong. Jesus never told the government to be involved but commanded individuals.

He was also the definition of efficient. He never asked us to give out money to a government to help the poor.

He told us, to take responsibility, take our resources and give to the poor. He also stated anyone who does not work does not deserve to eat. (II Th 3:10)

Take responsibility and be accountable and work to eat. Yeah, Jesus was definitely a Tea Party member.
