Your reply (posted below) seems to justify the millions of dead by God’s hand by referencing that others (communists) kill and murder too.

Are you suggesting that the Biblical Injunction against murder is false – an untruth?

For me, the sanctions against violence are a vital part of any religion or philosophy. The many incidents of killing, anger, incest, rape and slavery in the Bible – all with the approval of or on the order of God – points to the fallacy of the Bible as the ‘exact, dictated, inspired and perfect word of God.’

It’s a book; a book that paints a horrific picture of God. Even Jesus, who comes off relatively well by comparison to the OT God, promises to come back as an avenger.

My feeling is that to gloss over the terror of any cause – communism, radical Islam, radical Christianity, national or societal – is to fail at any pretense of religion, any pretense of Godliness, any pretense of humanity.

This is why we must expose, publish and examine the Bible as a guide of our deeds. The violence exposed in the listing of those ‘murdered by God’ does make a point – several of them.

Comparison to other killings is not a defense. It is – by a failure to be horrified by the killings of both the Biblical God and of Worldly Tyrants – a sanction of further violence.

Is this what you really wish to do?
