They have been saying that God actually waited until the 1900s and then revealed the cures for polio and other diseases. You should speak up and let them know that God just hid this stuff in the world and waited for man to find it.

Hold on, now God is responsible for science too? Why did he wait 200,000 years into human history to come up with a way to refrigerate food and pasteurize milk, and cure terrible childhood diseases? Since he waited so long, can we also put the blame on him for all the people whose lives were lost to disease and poisoned food, because he withheld that great glorious knowledge of those scientific advancements from us until the 20th century?

3D. once again, that verse said “in my name.” which is THE KEY POINT. If a guy goes out and kills a woman, in Jesus’s name, is it really in Jesus’s name? no. why not? because it wasn’t his will. In order for a prayer to be answered, its obvious that God needs to be willing to do it.

Maybe the Jesus as you claim didn’t come 2000 years ago and some carpenter was good at doing magic tricks and preaching, so many people were gullable to believe him when he said he was God. Or maybe a guy named Jesus didn’t exist at all and was just a made up person. Either way, there is a reason why many still did not believe. Those were the people that knew the truth. And the reason why it is stated Jesus said it would be no better today is because when something is made up of course the obvious future is that many people won’t believe, so he (or the creators of the bible)had to think of a way to say it to steer those who will notice people don’t believe so that they don’t choose the same path.

Reality? LOL Not. You and I are reality becsause we are proven to exist. You can NOT claim something is real if it isn’t proven to exist.

The single fact that we are even discussing if God exists proves he doesn’t exist. If he truly existed we wouldn’t even be here discussing it. Think about it.

The video forgot to mention the part, where Jesus said he won’t come back to the end of days. Asking him to appear would be against his will, and therefore, it doesn’t matter how many people you gather, its not in HIS NAME. God doesn’t do whatever we ask.

That’s funny, because the Bible says the opposite.

John 14, 12-14:
“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

(This is just one of many, many verses in the New Testament that say basically the same thing… ask Jesus for what you want, and as long as you’re sincere and really believe in Jesus, you will get it, it doesn’t matter what it is.)

Now, I know you THINK that the Bible says Jesus won’t grant wishes on request, but it doesn’t say that. Why? Because the idiots who wrote the Bible really thought that prayer worked.

Now, 2,000 years later, we know better, but people want to still cling to the Bible, so they make up all these conditions and restrictions on prayer, so that when it doesn’t work, it will seem like there’s a reason it’s not working.

Sounds nice, but none of that stuff is in the Bible.
