<a href="http://theimmoralminority.blogspot.com/2010/03/law-willow-and-wicked-witch-of-wasilla.html" rel="nofollow">The Law, the Willow, and the Wicked Witch of Wasilla</a>

"When Sarah was confronted with Willow’s involvement she at first said that it was impossible since Willow was out of town. However when Troopers interviewed the other teens, every single one of them identified Willow as a participant, and further revealed that it was she who directed the other teens to the house, which she knew to be empty, for the sole purpose of having a party. (In today's post AlaskaWTF called Willow the ringleader. Which is accurate in that it was she who knew the location of the house, but whether or not she was involved in the incredible destruction is still undetermined.)

Now confronted with this new information you may assume that the Palins would do the right thing and surrender their daughter to the authorities, allow her to suffer the consequences of her actions, and then treat this as a painful but necessary learning experience.

If you believed that for even an instant then you don’t know squat about Sarah Palin.

No instead Sarah circled the wagons (There are rumors she even hired legal counsel) and she started to call in favors. Scandal had to be avoided at all cost. (This was right around the time that her contract with Fox News was being announced.)"

Loi, did you read the link? It says plain as day, "I went to the source for all information on charities – the tax returns. I began with the organization’s 2008 tax filings which were filed in November of 2009.

It’s not a pretty picture. While I encourage you to go through the return on your own, here’s the bottom line –

In 2008, the charity raised $8,781,431 in revenue and gave out just $1,060,275.57–or 12%–to seriously wounded soldiers and for scholarships to kids of soldiers who have died. About 80% was spent on expenses, including $1,055,791 on postage, $925,392 on printing and $157,041 on travel.

Folks, when a charity’s expenditure on stamps equals the amount they spent fulfilling the actual mission of the charity, something is seriously wrong.

It is a well established rule of thumb that a legitimate charity is expected to spend 75% of its revenues on the mission of the charity. In 2008, Freedom Alliance spent 12%

And that was a good year!

The charity’s 2007 tax return reveals only 7% was spent on scholarships and payments to veterans. The 2006 returns reveal a truly appalling situation – while the organization took in almost $11 million, they spent only $400,000 on scholarships and grants to injured soldiers.

Yesterday, Freedom Alliance issued a response to Schlussel’s allegations.

To say that it was far from satisfying would be an understatement. No matter how they try to explain away the numbers, there is no escaping the bottom line – people have contributed huge sums of money to help the troops and their families, and only a tiny fraction of that money has been spent as it was supposed to be spent."

The evidence is the tax returns. It is irrefutable evidence.

Hannity acted as a spokesperson for an organization like this (not a donor - a spokesperson).

Here's FrumForum's defense: http://www.frumforum.com/hannitized-is-sanitized
And Freedom Alliance's defense: http://www.frumforum.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/freedom_alliance_response.pdf
As much as I dislike Hannity, I cannot find any solid evidence Hannity received luxury hotel stays, private jets, or luxe cars from Freedom Alliance's proceeds. Even Debbie Schlussel admits her source is a friend of a friend.
In addition, Debbie Schlussel has little credibility. Her wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debbie_Schlussel#Criticism) shows Media Matters has accused Debbie Schlussel *seven times* of spreading misinformation. A quick scan of the "criticisms" section shows she has made bizarre claims. Although, this in and of itself, does not disprove her current charges against Hannity, they suggest we need more proof than her word for these charges.
The only conclusion I can make from current information is Sean Hannity (who is not a board member of FreedomAlliance and thus, cannot control their decisions) may give money to a fiscally irresponsible charity, a crime many of us have committed, more of ignorance than malice.
Though I am disappointed whydoesgodhateamputees.com would post such a claim. This is an atheist website, and thus one devoted to thinking critically. We atheists arrived at our current positions by thinking critically about a belief accepted uncritically by most Americans. We should apply this same process to other beliefs in our lives. If whydoesgodhateamputees.com wants to attack Hannity, they could do so in a much more credible way, for example, attacking his insensitive remarks towards homosexuals, or the way his show subtly promotes conservative views while pretending to be balanced. I would imagine a more thorough search would show more problems.

Could you list those please?
WOW!! theses are the same guys who support Obamination! Hilarious! Somehow Palin is a problem?

"Hannity a pass on such egregious, repulsive behavior?"

So do you have anything outside of a blog post? Do you have any real evidence? This story has been ignored by the state controlled media. If Hannity has beeen involved in any REAL misconduct, lol, they would not be ignoring it.

Props to you! It just will not work. You tried, but the real corruption is with your party and it is deep and wide!

Why do atheist still hang on to the scumbags in the DNC?
