Yes, that’s right.
Grandma dying of cancer, you pray that she be cured but dies instead, because ‘that’ is God’s will.
Meaning, you wasted time and energy praying since God’s going to do ‘his will’ regardless whether you pray or not.

Grandma ends up cured? Great! God did it, only because it was his will and only because it was his will. Meaning, praying was a waste of time because God was going to cure her anyway.

God is perfect, so therefore his plan is perfect. He’s not about to let some finite, non-omniscient, non-omnipotent, sinner disrupt his perfect plan. Doing your will over his means he’s not omnipotent, but he is, he can do anything! He claims to love you, but he ignores you! He’s going to do what he wants, when he wants, why he wants and you just better shut up and put up… err… put up and THANK him for it!

When I found out that this tyrant was sexist, it began the decline in my ‘faith.’
The sermon I sat thru with the pastor going on about how it’s man’s god given right to beat and force himself upon his wife and finding that the Bible did confirm this… did being a christian help me determine this was wrong?

The Anti-Christian philosophies the US is built upon: Freedom, Liberty, Justice, Equality under the Law for All, and the Right to Pursue a Life of Happiness. Read your bible! If the god of the bible is real and true, then NO American is going to heaven. Are you American or Christian? Being an American Christian or a Christian American is an oxymoron.

I considered this site to be a joke in the mold of FSM, but then it hit me that these webmasters are sincere. The prayer trial being held up as “evidence” that prayer does not work and God does not exist is evidence of the nuttiness looming here. Then they maintain to be looking at God “Rationally”. Perhaps, but certainly not realistically.

God will not be mocked
God will not be tested
Do not tempt the Lord your God
Jesus taught to disciples the pray “thy will be done”
All these commands are taught in scripture and known but any common Bible student. Yet, they resort to the same old misuse of one scripture that has been explained to atheist time and time again while ignoring those that disprove their agenda.

Just a thought but if you plan on testing God and prayer you might want to get Him on board but it will not happen.
